They are very professional, honest, hard working and meticulous and the costs are reasonable. They totally understand your needs and what they have to do to accomplish the task at hand. We have hired them to installed exterior and interior doors, correct some small plumbing issues, some bathroom remodeling, tree removal. You name it and Im sure they can do it. We will have them back in the spring for additional outdoor work we need done. I can't say enough about much we like and trust this company and the work they have done for us."

"It went well. The leaks that had alerted me of the improper flashing installation have not returned, despite several heavy rainstorms. He was punctual and delivered a good service. The only drawback was that I had not been informed of when the work would happen so was surprised when people arrived to repair the roof. This was probably a simple miscommunication, like accidentally leaving a voicemail message with a wrong number, (and I'd give A- instead of B for the professionalism score if that were an option) and I would have no hesitancy about hiring Stuart Contracting for future work. <br />"

"I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"Tom was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Very nice and respectable man to deal with, and I had no worries about leaving him at my residence unattended to complete his work. He came to my place in a timely manner, inspected the areas he would be working on, and then rendered me a reasonable quote for his services. Tom gathered the materials for the job quickly and began work a few days later. He pulled up my old carpet, installed the new carpeting, and painted the trim to better match my new carpeting. He also painted the trim around the doorways to the newly carpeted room the same color, and did some touch up painting on the door itself. Tom finished the job ahead of schedule and I could not have been more pleased with the work he had done. Everything was perfect and was done exactly how I wanted it. I would certainly recommend him to anyone as I will be using his services in the future. I had some negative experiences with other handymen in the past and I’m relieved to have found a reliable and competent hard worker for future household remodeling."

"He was a very nice guy but he never came back and finished. He never came back. He was supposed to bring a weather strip for our front door. He did a nice job. He was reasonable. But then he never completed it. He just didn't ever come back and do it. I was going to call him. But, my husband was real sick for a while and we just kind of let it go. But, we should get it because definitely it would have saved heat and we had a cold winter. He was a nice man. I liked the guy a lot. I know he planned to get back. I think he just probably forgot. The door was beautifully done. He did beautiful work. They had to put siding and they had to remove some windows. We felt like it was reasonable. We were pleased with what he did, just that he didn't finish the weather stripping. He is so busy. He worked us in. He was a nice man. He did very well for the money. We were very happy with his work. I would recommend him. There was one other thing inside. Maybe he didn't intend to finish it. We had windows next to the old door that we had. We had an odd sized door. He closed in the windows. He closed it but there is some trim at the bottom like between the floor and the wall. The baseboard, he never finished that either. I don't know if he wasn't going to but that's still not there either. It looks kind of rough. We haven't had the money to have it painted yet. But there is a piece of that on the bottom on the floor that's not done either. Maybe he wasn't going to do it. I think the price was fair. He came in when he said he would. We were very happy with him. We're just disappointed that he forgot to come back."

"It went well. He did a great job cleaning gutters. Carefully applied curtain rod to kitchen door. Didn't have right equipment to remove stubborn lock from door of outside building but volunteered to come back to replace hinge, new lock."
