"This pro provided useful information via a virtual (online) video consultation. Since this service does not send technicians to the home, they did not do the actual work. I am considering whether to order parts and try to complete the repair myself or under their virtual direction."

"Russ has been the go to guy for the last 8 years. He is this minute repairing my refrigerator. Very very fast response. Reasonable price for labor intensive word. I trust this man as every time he has performed in an exemplary fashion and he stands behind his work. Whenever anything goes wrong with appliances he is the very first contact and he responds quickly, diagnoses the problem correctly and quickly, and implements the needed actions very quickly. He is much more responsive than large companies that sell the products. Russ is THE guy to fix my problems and he has repaired wine cooler, microwave, oven, and refrigerator over the years. I would never call anyone else before Russ."

So drove out picked up part this place was amazing they seemed to have everything! will be going back. So if you don't need a service tech to come out and you can do it yourself or know someone who can this place is fantastic!"

"<p>When I got a response from Jeff offering to pick up the receiver, my first thought was that this was going to cost me a LOT of money, because pick-up and delivery indicates pretty high-end service.  I hesitated for about a week, checked my receiver with a couple of smaller speakers to be sure it was the receiver that went and not the speakers, and then called Jeff up.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>He came the same day, picked up the unit, took a $75.00 deposit to be applied to the final repair.  Fixed it and had it back to me in a week.  It works perfectly.  The final bill, including the deposit, was $150.00, which I consider more than reasonable.  I was afraid that I would end up having to buy something new -- but Jeff fixed the blown output damage, and replaced the two blown fuses with fuses that were the wrong size.  Everything sounds perfect, and just the fact that there was no extra charge to take it away and bring it back WITHIN A WEEK still amazes me.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Jeff is a friendly, obviously knowledgeable technician.  I won't hesitate to use him in the future.  Again -- the price was more than reasonable, the service was fast, and pick up and delivery times were punctual, just as stated.  USE THIS BUSINESS!</p> <br />"

"Excellent service! The technician arrived on time, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Over the years, I've had several home appliance warranty companies. Without question, Complete Appliance Protection is the best one I've ever contracted with. Their monthly price is a little higher than most, but I do have their best protection plan with $0 deductible. You get what you pay for..."

"  The repair man was about 2 hours late and offered no apology or even a comment. He seemed very distracted and non-communicative. After checking the fridge, he started calling for a repair part without telling me what the problem was. I asked and got a brief answer. <br /> While on the phone waiting for the part availability, he actually dosed off. After 20-30 minutes on the phone, he said that the part was no longer available. He suggested that we needed a new fridge. I said no way, we would find a way to get around this. After a bit, he seemed to wake up and actually started conversing. He went back to the fridge door and examined the gasket, finding that it was out of place on the hinge side. He pulled it back in place and added some silicon grease to keep it from binding again. It worked perfectly. NO repair part needed!!!!! He then became really friendly and discussed our pet and was a completely different person from when he arrived. I have no idea what had been wrong with him. He charged $75 for the hour he had been here. I paid it, but he should have found the real problem quickly and been gone in half the time. Maybe we just caught him on a bad day. <br />"

FAQs for fridge, freezer or ice maker repair or service projects in Mormon-Lake, AZ

Most ice makers are similar in design, and some parts are interchangeable. However, if your ice maker has advanced filters or special features, it's best to use the same make and model to ensure everything works properly. Ask your appliance repair pro to check your appliance specifications to be sure.

With regular use and proper maintenance, an ice maker typically lasts about four to five years. If you keep up with tasks like changing the filters every six months, you might get up to 10 years out of your ice maker. Address any problems with your ice maker right away by calling an appliance professional to ensure you solve any issues before they escalate, helping to keep your ice maker running smoothly for longer.

Your refrigerator's age plays a big role in deciding whether to repair or replace the ice maker. If your fridge is nearing the end of its average 14-year lifespan, it might not be worth investing in expensive repairs since other parts could fail soon. Getting a diagnosis from a refrigerator repair pro can help you decide what's best.
