"The job went Extremely Well! Work Performed June 12, 2019 This was my first time looking for a truly real, qualified plumber, because I could no longer trust the work of pseudo plumbers. I had a busted indoor basement pipeline that connected to an outdoor spigot, that caused quite a bit of water damage in my basement, so I needed to find the best plumber, at a reasonable price, and a company that would apply the diagnostic charge to the total charge of the work done. I spent several hours researching plumbing companies, reviewed a great deal of customers’ reviews on each company, and I called a few that had the best reviews. One of my initial calls was to Archer Plumbing Company. The phone was answered promptly by Allan, a very pleasant man (a good sign). I explained what was going on, he asked a few questions, and was able to quote a ballpark figure of what it might cost. I told him I had to make a few more calls before I could decide on a company, but so far, they seemed to be the best, and met all my requirements. In the end, Archer Plumbing was the number one choice by far. I called Allan back and scheduled an appointment. The next day I called and changed the scheduled date to an earlier date, and Allan was very flexible and accommodating. Allan called on June 12, the scheduled date, to let me know that the plumbers were on their way. Chuck and Matthew arrived promptly. I was happy that they had shoe covers (thumbs up), so I didn’t have to offer mine. Chuck was very knowledgeable, proficient and efficient. Both were very polite and pleasant. In addition to replacing the busted pipeline and spigot, they replaced the toilet fill valve and seal in two toilet tanks, and Chuck gave me some general, helpful maintenance tips, as well as addressed a few of my concerns with future plumbing projects. I was very pleased that the cost was within the ballpark figure that Allan had quoted for the busted pipe repair. Needless to say, I highly recommend Archer Plumbing. First impression and experience are lasting! I admire their honesty and integrity. I have already recommended Archer Plumbing to my friends and family. This company exceeds customers’ expectations in all areas of service. They deliver Five Star Service, at a reasonable price, and they offer a one year warranty on their work. "We needed to check our water heater for leaks prior to closing the sale of our house.Joe Lay were out installing a new water heater and expansion tank the next day. The technician explained how all the components were supposed to work before checking everything so we both knew we needed a new tank as well. Outstanding, professional company. Billy was very respectful, knowledgeable and professional the entire time in our home. We would highly recommend Joe Lay and Sons for any plumbing needs."

"Zak showed up on time, looked at my to be fixed list and went right to work. He was able to loosen the shut-off valves in both bathroom sinks, so we we didn't have to replace those. (I'm 70 and arthritic, no strength in my hands and wrists.) If the shower regulator goes wonky again, I should be able to fix it myself as Zac showed me how. No charge for that fix. The toilet needed a new flapper-apparently the el crappo one I had used was no good-it was worth the $15 charge to finally not have to turn the water on/off to use the toilet! The cost of the project includes the new faucet which I guess to be $80-100 retail range (a nice Delta basic with sprayer). It was not a simple replumb; there were some challenges getting the old faucet out as parts were rusted and fused. Zac explained everything along the way, took care not to make a big mess and cleaned up after he was done. Took about 3 hours start to finish, including the time Zac took to go purchase the faucet and get the special tools needed to cut apart the old rusted parts. They will be coming back to install some shower rails for us after they get the parts. I will be calling these folks for any more plumbing repairs I need. I was so nice to call and actually talk to a live person and not play phone tag. I called them on a Thursday afternoon and they were here the next Monday morning as promised. This was a non-emergency call. BTW-they do charge $85 for a service call. This was work Plumb Tech originally did in December 2017. I had washed dishes in a dishpan and when I dumped the dishpan, water gushed all over the floor. I called they sent a tech over immediately-here in about 20 minutes. Turns out my old house and somewhat wobbley sink cabinet contribute to loosening the joints. The tech re-attached everything and tightened all the joints as much as possible. Everything is now working fine again. Done at no additional charge to me. I really need to have new cabinets installed so the sink will not move even a little, but the house is not worth that expense at this point. (We will be investigating some way of stabilizing things.) I really appreciate the fast response and not being charged."

It was excellent!!!   On a scale of 1 - 10 -- it was a 15!!     First they called me right away to schedule, and worked with me to find the soonest time that worked for both of our schedules.
The rep who came to my home was Colt ... he was awesome!!!     He went above and beyond and even helped me fix a couple other things!    He was personable, polite, very thorough and seemed to be great at his job.  He is a very nice young man.
  He is an excellent representative of Joe Lay & Sons Plumbing.  
I will specify Joe Lay & Sons for any and all future plumbing needs (through warranty company or independently)
I often hesitate to bring people into my house, that  I do not know.    I do not  feel that way about Joe Lay Plumbing.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber for plumbing needs.
They are prompt, caring, work to get you an appointment ASAP, dependable, thorough .... I can't say enough.
I am surely one who will complain when a company is not satisfactory, the work, the technician, etc  .... and I do.  
 But at the same time, when there is a company and service rep who are really good (in this case exceptional) I will  (and have) write, email or call them to compliment them and let them know just how good of a job was done, how the service rep was such a great representative of their company.. . . and that I will be a return customer!!

"Jason's crew patched small holes, d**** and damage from nail pops and twenty years of kids wear-and-tear. Painted the ceilings, walls and trim in each bedroom and the hallway. Looks fantastic! They additionally painted the exterior trim and ceiling of our porch. Crisp and clean. As with any job, there were a few small things we noticed afterward, but they came back promptly for touch-up, and made everything look great! Jason and his crew were very polite and personable. We'll be happy to hire them in the future for additional jobs."

Problem was I did not know that they came and thouht I was being abandoned. Apparently I caused the problem not them. They are coming back to resolve the problem. I was wrong."
