He explained the process, what his company's responsibilities are and what we would need to do. The wood was delivered and it was beautiful, and also sustainably harvested, which we appreciated. His crew was efficient, polite, meticulous, and very knowledgeable. We got stain samples displayed on our newly installed floors, which helped us to determine what we liked. They made the new floors mesh with the refinished, 40-year-old floors, perfectly. We are very pleased."

"We hired Ron because we were trying to replace our carpet in order to sell our house, and for the same price that Home Depot/Lowes and Empire Today were charging for replacing the carpet, Ron was able to replace the carpet and refinish our hardwood floors. Awesome price, but even better is that, for once, it wasn't a situation of "you get what you pay for". We had two crews do the separate jobs, and they were able to do 3000 sq ft of flooring in 5 days. Both crews were very professional and very helpful. Ron is extremely knowledgeable, and his expertise in the industry helped us to make good decisions in buying the colors/quality that would best sell our house without breaking our budget, and he nailed it. Even our realtor was amazed how good it looked. The only reason I took off a 1/2 star was that the wood refinishing crew replaced the molding on the baseboards, but didn't caulk the nail holes or the join between the molding and baseboards. Ron, however, came out himself to caulk the join, but he advised that they normally do not caulk and paint the molding. I do feel that should be part of it the entire service because if you take it apart, it should be put back the same way. Other than that, I'm very impressed with the service and quality of work and would recommend them to anyone."

Stupidly, I paid him without doing a thorough inspection of completed work. His crew neglected to install and nail quarter round at two columns and near a fireplace. I reached out to him for solution to the missed moldings two times; received a response once and then contractor amnesia set in. Fixing these missed details (my fault) cost me an additional $395. I will never use Ron again. The work that they did complete looked amazing. The end left a foul taste in my mouth."
