The initial consultant was highly professional and it never felt like he was a ‘salesman’ with high pressure tactics just trying to get his commission. I have never refinished a basement before and assumed it would be the same as any other room in the house but I felt extremely reassured about the materials and methods used to keep the basement in the best condition as possible. "Josh fit me into his busy schedule, which was great, but there were major miscommunication issues. When we did a walkthrough, he gave me a quote that I agreed to; when he sent the contract, however, the quote was $10k higher than he had stated. I agreed to it because I needed the work done ASAP, as my previous contractor had cancelled at the last minute. Josh gave me a small refund for not doing one part of the job but refused to correct or refund me for multiple items that were done incorrectly. Now I am spending thousands of dollars to fix things that should have been done in the first place. One of the contractors I hired to repair the work said he was appalled both by the shoddy job and the lack of recompense. I do not recommend this company."
