"I had a big pothole at the foot of my driveway caused by heavy rain runoff, and Danny at Central Coast Asphalt responded immediately with a bid. Time of year was between rains during the last part of winter, which necessitated rescheduling the work several times (work area was too damp), but Danny was very patient and accommodated my changes. He's a busy guy and may need 4-5 days to answer emails or texts, but always caught up with my inquiries. He and a helper finished the job in one day, even though the delivery of fresh asphalt didn't arrive until 6 or 7 PM -- they stayed until the job was done. Also, Danny dug and installed a drainage pipe under the problem spot to help keep runoff from washing over and degrading the new surface -- this was really important for me. Thank you Danny!"

"I'm a single woman who owns my home by myself. Randy and his team were incredibly understanding and professional people. They were with me every step of the way, had my best interests in mind and are passionate about what they do. They worked with my insurance, talking with adjusters both locally and in Missouri to get the needed outcomes. My home actually flooded with raw sewage twice, neither were caused by Berry Construction. The first flood on March 3rd resulted from the original contractor not installing a back flow sewage check valve when the home was built three years ago. The second back up in the first week of April was from toilet paper that had accumulated within the line. After the second back up, Berry recommended a great plumber who correctly resolved the issue. Berry met, what initially seemed to be impossible deadlines without sacrificing quality. My little brother got married on April 23, 2016 and I needed my house ready for guests. Even though some of the initial work Berry did was scrapped due to the second back up, they still met the timeline needed to have my home ready for my little brother’s wedding. Again, this was a nightmare of a sewage situation but Berry Construction did everything right to give me my home back. I highly, highly recommend them to others."

"I found Golden State on Angie's list. When contacted, Gary, the owner, came out and gave us an estimate. He was running a little late, but called to let us know when he would arrive. It took him a few days to work up the estimate as it was a complicated job. We had some roots to remove under our old driveway and wanted to expand it. We also wanted to retain a duct for siphoning off water and wanted some berms installed. <br /> We had a brief rain delay. However, Golden State kept in touch with us.. The day the job was to start, the crew arrived on time. Extra roots were removed over and above what we had contracted for. Also,extra asphalt was brought in just in case it was needed. They ended up paving more than what we had contracted for. The next day, the crew returned to put in a couple of berms. The site was completely cleaned up before they left. There was follow-up after the job was done and only after we were satisfied were we presented with an invoice. <br /> I found the crew to be professional and the job results exceptional.
