"This is an upgraded review after an initial 2-star grading. Responsive customer service to issues with the purchase itself made all the difference and allowed me to keep an open mind as I continued into the installation process. Overall, other than a few "they could do this better" items, the quality, the accuracy, the value, the helpful support team, and the easy installation of my 7 motorized solar shades all point to 5 stars. We followed the measuring instructions carefully and received shades that fit each space exactly as I expected. Installation itself was easier than traditional shades using the solid brackets they provided. Questions I had during installation were answered promptly through Chat. The remote control was a bit of a challenge, so be patient if you bought a multi-channel one and have lots of shades in your room. And for some reason they don't tell you this, but you must have a remote for your motorized shades. The app alone isn't enough. Our only minor gripe is that determining how solar shades look at night was just a game of inference. It would be very helpful to have an online tool available to create your own scene, which includes shade color, indoor or outdoor, and time of day. Even samples don't help much more. Still, I'll return to them when it's time to take care of other rooms. We did this project for 2 to 3 thousand dollars less than big box store quoted us. It was a cinch."

"Me and my wife had about come to the conclusion there was no good way to redesign our kitchen of 27 years. it was an adequate kitchen but we had lived with some pretty bad design flaws since our home was built...like some deep in the corner cabinets that were really totally unusable and the refrigerator protruding into  the back door way. It was also quite congested when the whole family showed up for Sunday lunch. I heard that Coast Design had done a good job for our dentist wife so we decided to give them a shot. <strong>Haleigh Vance</strong> was our designer. She dropped by our house and in a matter of minutes had sketched out a design  option we had not even considered. ...to make a long story short she came up with an awesome design and went completely through the selection of the cabinetry.  I did have some pretty extensive work necessary to prepare the kitchen for the cabinets ( removing a load bearing  wall between den and kitchen, closing off back door, rerouting all plumbing and electrical, ect) so they recommended a contractor that I did in fact use and he did an awesome job for me.  We had heard of some other jobs Coast design had done and had good reports...I was very nervous about even doing this kitchen renovation because of some nightmares two of my friends had with one of the big box stores in town. ( one of my friends kitchen renovation took almost a year before everything was compete) . We ordered the cabinets around Aug. 25th and they were arrived by Sept. 26th...exactly what Haleigh had told us. The contractor had the kitchen ready for cabinet installation  about 6 days after they arrived. The cabinets were top quality....note we did pay a little extra for all oak cabinets but I think it was worth it. We also had all the bells and whistles like slow close drawers/ cabinet doors, pull out pantry and spice racks, crown molding matching the cabinets around the whole kitchen and a few other things.  Two additional fairly major things Haleigh did for us was design in a window seat in our bay window and she also designed a unique coffee bar/ hutch. We have had several friends over since the installation....the change from the old to the new has created a much bigger WOW factor than I thought...one of our friends had just finished a new kitchen 6 months earlier....his wife asked him...why doesn't my kitchen look like this...his response...they got someone to design this that knew what they were doing. Over all we were about as pleased as we could have hoped for. It was probably a little more overall than I intended to spend but it is a very high end kitchen now....friends joke now that they can't let their wife come to our home.   Between Coast design and our contractor we were without a kitchen for about three weeks....much better than i thought it would be. I was impressed that Ms Vance stayed in contact with us and came out on the morning the installations started to make sure every thing was cool with the installers.....The best thing besides getting a beautiful <strong>HGTV</strong> kitchen...there were no surprises!!!!. I am attaching pictures showing before and after. By the way, I didn't know this a year ago...this is a very reputable outfit...they are owned by Mobile Lumber... <br />"
