"The project went very smoothly.  We made a trip to Paramount to meet with their salesperson and review our needs.  Then we looked at the various options they had in stock.  The suggestions made by the sales person helped significantly.  Once we decided on the granite we liked, Paramount completed the project within a couple of weeks which aligned well with the overall construction project.

"We have spent months looking for right people and I am glad it took so long. The responsiveness, attention to detail, and professionalism have been superior. We had our countertops replaced with granite, replaced sink (including adjustments to plumbing) and garbage disposal, installed marble backsplash, took out 'garage' and had our cabinet doors modified by changing out middle wooden panel with frosted glass. "Sam did an excellent job repairing our siding.  Since the manufacturer no longer manufactured the exact style, Sam suggested that he could take some existing pieces from the side of the house that had a lot shrub coverage for the repair and replace with a close match.  The replaced pieces are hardly noticeable and hidden by the shrubs. 

His painter also did a great job.  Both gentlemen are friendly and easy to work which is a huge plus from my wife's perspective."

"Response to my inquire was next day. When he arrived he was on time and took appropriate safety measures. When it came to the job, he took one look at the shower and rather than write up an estimate and start working to clean the grout and caulking, he pulled out literature to show me what the problem was and that a simple cleaning would not be a long term solution and he didn't want to charge me work that he knew would not last. I appreciated the lesson and professionalism to not charge me for a job that would not fix my problem. Instead he shared with me the right way to go about finding someone who could do the necessary repairs."

"I went with somebody else. I thought they did an excellent job, and it is just that they wanted to do the whole package deal and my neighbor was going to do my back splash. I found someone else to do the granite part of it left. They are a very good company, but they were just more expensive than what I went with. "We hired Fair and Square Remodeling to repair the floor in our kitchen. They sent someone out to review our needs and help us figure out the best route to take with the repair. They were on time, laid floor mats down to keep the dirt out, and were accommodating and respectful to our dogs (making sure Boomer and Kip weren't in the way). The floor repair they did saved us from having to redo our whole floor. All in all, what I really enjoyed about working with them was their ability to problem solve as well as help me manage when and when not to repair and how to move into a full remodel. I will be contacting them when we're ready to do our full remodel."

"One structure in the form of a arbor with a gate completed our fence.
     The other structure a small deck outside of the lower sliding glass doors, with a pergola added,
     gives a quiet shady respite to the yard.
      We also had Hal design and build a fountain feature added to the garden area itself.  Which gives a soft
      and flowing water sound near the small deck.
      The work overall is outstanding with a very finished look.  It was also accomplished as per estimate of
       time and cost.  They were very considerate to make the work space neat and clean each day at finish
       time.
     
       We would "highly" recommend these contractors to anyone wanting this type of excellent yard work done.

"The estimator was very knowledgeable and explained his products and services very well.  He provided a detailed plan and estimate.
The installation was done all in one day - including removal of the old counter top and the installation of the new counter top - and it was done on the pre-scheduled day.  Sears was excellent at accommodating our scheduling restrictions.  The new counter top looks nice and we are very happy with the result.
There were a few glitches - the garbage disposal leaked and needed service, and it was tough to get an updated estimate when we made a mid-stream change - but we were still very happy with the result.
Note that the Sears office that we dealt with is in Sharon Hill PA, not in Windsor Mill MA as listed by Angie's List, and the corporate headquarters is in Longwood FL.

Dan (the son) was prompt and courteous for the initial consultation and the work.  He was very competent and was able to save a brick arch that my counter contractors couldn't guarantee would stand during the demo.  He did go over his estimate because he encountered about triple the standard/normal amount of concrete or whatever the substrate for the tile was.  Our house is filled with odd/quirky things like that so I wasn't surprised.  He communicated during the job well (explaining what he encountered and seeking approval for the way he planned to deal with it, etc) and he cleaned up the job site well.  He even saved a custom tile inlay in the middle of the demo'd tile that we were hoping to keep.   

Very happy with the results.
