"I called Showalter's as they came highly recommended by the person who did our septic tank inspection before we purchased our home. I spoke with Debra who was friendly and able to find a spot on the schedule for me without trouble. She also explained their fee structure (there's only two pieces to it--their service fee and the county's disposal fee) and what services would be performed, and asked me about where my tanks were. On the day of service, Jorge arrived during the scheduled window, opened the access ports and told me how full each of my tanks and cesspool was; he gave me an estimate of how long it would take (about half an hour), but also warned me that it would likely take a second trip to empty them out. After he was done, he told me how much was removed and how much was left, at which point I elected to have him make a second trip to pump out the rest. I called Showalter's and was able to schedule a second trip for the following day. The next day, Jorge arrived on time and pumped out the rest. All the time, he was both friendly and professional, and I would recommend Showalter's to anyone looking for septic service. Be warned though that pumping does make a very loud noise; scheduling service while your neighbors are at work or away would be a good idea."

"I called Ralph, owner of RSG Plumbing, on a Saturday afternoon after I noticed I had no hot water.  I went to check the pilot on my water heater and noticed the water line leading into the water heater had sprung a leak.  I called Ralph and he showed up at my home an hour later.  He was very personable and very professional.  He replaced my leaky pipe and valve without incident.  His rates were reasonable.  I will definitely be using him again in the future and recommending him to my neighbor. <br />"

"We set an appointment with an approximate time range of about an hour. The guy showed up, diagnosed the issue and performed a very professionally looking repair. (I was working, so only saw the resultant repair). He had to remove some stucco from the outside wall around the pipe to complete the repair. It looked well done, but he did not repair the wall. I'm guessing my wife decided I would take care of it to save some money. :) It was very easy to fill in, fix and repaint *luckily I had left over paint from when we repainted the house about a year ago)."

"I can't recommend New-Pipe highly enough, especially since they did this job 7 months ago & I haven't had the slightest hint of problems.  My house was built in the '40s, and beginning 2013, the sewer line repeatedly filled with roots .  It got so bad that I had to have it jetted out, at around $500 a pop, multiple times.  It turned out that previous owners had done cheap-and-dirty (literally, I guess) repairs in numerous places, and sections of the pipe were so offset from one another that the tree roots were having a field day (also literally) getting in.  I got multiple bids, & none of the options were good:  basically re-line the existing pipes, but lose capacity and risk roots getting in again; dig up & replace the entire line, which is about twice the length of a standard urban driveway; or pulverize the existing pipe & draw a new one behind the drill.  I chose the latter.  I got 3 bids, including New-Pipe, which I found through Angie's List.  Victor Torres came out quickly, camera'd the line, & was knowledgeable, professional & friendly. Their bid was also lowest of the 3.  I needed to do the job quickly for year-end tax reasons, & New-Pipe worked me in even though it was just before the holidays.  They showed up early, broke asphalt at the top of driveway & dug an enormous hole at the street level.  Even though Torres had estimated the job might take a few days, they were done in 1 long day.  I work at home, & while the jackhammering was loud, at no point were there radios with the volume cranked up or any of the usual annoyances.  The entire crew was hardworking & cheerful, which you might not find me if I had to dig a hole taller than my head.  As I recall, Victor then came back to make sure everything was done satisfactorily.  It was the  most money I've ever spent at once, other than buying a house or a car.  But if I had to incur that kind of cost, it couldn't have been a better experience."
