"We were sold a cleaner for the floors that needs to be diluted. We calculated the dilution to be 3 tsp to 25 oz of water after purchase. The cleaner was supposed to be given to us at time of cleaning but was only mailed to us after the job was completed when we learned of the dilution rate. We will never use the whole bottle of cleaner in our lifetimes due to the amount of cleaner and dilution requirements. It cost $50.00. Grout on kitchen floor looked a little better, while the cleaning of grouting on bathroom floors was done better. When I questioned the tech regarding the kitchen grout on the floor he said it would look lighter after it was dry. It didn't. Some type of white flecks were left on the kitchen cabinets that needed cleaning after the tech left. The main problem was that a fine crack reappeared in the kitchen granite behind the kitchen sink and ran to the back of the bay window. This crack had previously been repaired at the time of the crack and was not visible until after the work was done by Sureshine. Sureshine owner and tech had been notified before the work was done by them that there had been a crack shortly after the granite was installed and repaired at that time. Whatever Sureshine did reopened the fine crack. Sergio came on 04/27/2017 and looked at the fine crack and said it was barely visible and nothing would be done by them to repair it. He then immediately left. We will now have to hire a company to repair the crack. UPDATE - A second new crack on the front of the sink was only discovered after Sergio came out regarding the appearance of the crack line behind the kitchen sink. We feel that the crack in front of the sink must have occurred due to pressure created by the tech when the caulking was removed. UPDATE 5/24/2017: The owner Ted McFadden came out yesterday for 2 1/2 hours on the granite and the crack in front of the sink, you can see it but it is less visible, and the crack on the front is smoothed out and is not visible, and he was very cordial. He was very very gracious."

"It was easy to work with them from start to finish.  I contacted Zach Levy on one day and my bathroom was transformed by 2PM the following day!  In order for this to happen so speedily, Zach used texting of photos to recommend a solution, provide a price, and schedule the job.  Zach guided me about which photos to take.  I sent him pictures of the entire tub/shower and bathroom sink counter and also provided detailed photos that showed the problems.  He got right back to me with an estimate and scheduled the job.  It turned out that he had an available slot the following day and that worked for me.  The technician arrived on time, handled the contractual side quickly and easily, and got to work after a grout color was selected.  He took precautions to keep any dust inside the room and not have it spread into adjacent rooms. The job took 6 hours and the technician asked any decision questions along the way so that the final result was exactly what I wanted. Upon asking, the technician showed me the materials they were using,  They use top-notch materials with longevity.  For example, the GE caulk has a 7-year no-mold warranty!  The results looked great and we let it sit without use for 2 days to let everything set (36 hours was recommended by the technician).  After that time the walls and sink counter were wiped down.  In doing so, one small spot on the countertop rubbed off, revealing the dark, old grout below.  I took an overall and detailed photo and sent it to Zach with a brief explanation.  I asked if they could come back and fix this one spot.  I got an immediate "yes" and we'll be getting that done shortly.  Things happen.  It's how it's handled that's important.  Their services are expedient and professional.  My bathroom is now clean as a whistle; it's a spa experience.  I do have one regret - it's that I did not find them sooner!  Thanks go to American Grout Specialist. <br />"

I often had to take the initiative to call Tam to follow-up on information and scheduling but we did get everything worked out. <br /> <br /> - Cost was normally $650 but Tam asked for a $50 surcharge due to our location out in the East Bay. <br /> <br /> - Work started at 9am and was finished at 5pm. <br /> <br /> - Work started with Tam's brother (Austin) and one assistant removing the grout with hand tools. At about midday, Austin left for another installation. Another staff member came by at about 2pm and Austin returned at about 3pm. So there were three people finishing up at the end of the day although Austin seemed to be doing most of the work. <br /> <br /> - Austin used the extra materials to clean-up the caulk for our toilet and sink (gratis). <br /> <br /> - Results look acceptable but I noticed some variation in the color of the grout. It's unclear to me what the cause of this is. I also found some grout material adhering to the tiles which I had to remove on my own. <br /> <br /> - Austin accepted my check and told me that his brother would mail me the invoice and receipt. "Excellent work!  Jim and his staff arranged for a convenient time.  Alex and Eric arrived promptly and went to work.  Initially they surveyed all the carpet in the house, including heavily traveled areas.  We had vacuumed the carpet before they came, but they used a more powerful vacuum prior to starting their cleaning process.  We removed smaller pieces of furniture.  They moved the larger furniture and placed it on foam blocks to prevent it from getting damp.  They carefully cleaned the carpets.  They did a great job.  Following the cleaning process, they used industrial fans to help accelerate the drying.  They were friendly and courteous, and everything was professionally done.   Highly recommend! <br />"

"This was my first experience with each of the services that Burrous Bros. provided.  I was surprised at what seemed to be a higher cost than I expected.  Frank Burrous explained that the products for sealing and stain resistant treatments are costly.  I decided to proceed with the work since it isn't done very often. <br /> Frank and the Burrous staff were outstanding.  Frank followed with me throughout the scheduling, estimating, and service processes. He asked if I had any questions about the items he estimated or the services that would be performed.  Didier the technician was very professional doing the work and had tools to make sure that the long hose from his van through my home didn't mark up the walls.  He was very methodical and paced himself to ensure that the work was done completely and thoroughly. <br /> Once finished, I was given printed information on what action to take (if any) to keep each of the items optimally clean and, if necessary, to call if there were any issues or dissatisfaction. After the work was completed, I was contacted again by Frank to confirm whether or not I was satisfied with the work done as well as asked if I had any questions. <br /> In my estimation, the name Burrous means GREAT customer satisfaction.  I recommend them to anyone who is considering similar type of cleaning services for their home or business. <br />"
