"My friend is in the hospital recovering from major surgery. His wife is at home taking care of 3 adolescent boys from foster care. The home gets hit with a bed bug infestation and they need to relocate to an old mobile home while their house is being fumigated. I called ProTech on Friday afternoon and explained I needed to help my friend as there was an electrical issue at the trailer that needed to be fixed so the family could stay there. Less than 24 hours later their technician was at the trailer and fixed all the problems. Communication was great and constant, price was very fair and they did all this from one phone call. I like the fact that I can check, arm and disarm the system remotely. I receive a text very quickly every time the alarm is armed or disarmed. There is a monthly fee of $39.99 and the basic cost of the kit was $99.00, a motion detector, panel, camera equipped motion detector, 4 door alarms, a panic button key fob, stickers and signs."

However, I think these alarm services are pretty much the same and I would advise people to call around for prices. The installation is one thing, but be careful about the monthly fees, which can be high to cover the cost of the equipment. After my contract expired, I was able to negotiate a monthly fee that is about half what I was paying previously."
