"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"Jeff and his crew were awesome. We had him install wainscot on our walls and ceiling in our upstairs loft, bedrooms, bathrooms...he also installed a vanity for me in the bathroom and rebuilt the stairs that lead up to make them wider and more attractive. He also installed a new exterior door/screen door combination for me."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"We would hire this company again. They were quick to respond to our request, came out to do the estimate and returned to do the work well within a reasonable amount of time. We needed repairs to the base of the wall between the shower and the toilet. There had been a slight leak from the wall in shower over the years that cause mildew and mold at the base of the wall slowly spreading. Shawn came to our home and gave a very reasonable estimate considering he could not see how much damage was behind the wall and the base board. Keven did the work and an excellent job of it as well. You would never know any repairs had been done. We had paint that matched what was already there. Keven painted it as well after sealing the areas in the shower that looked like it would be the source of the damage. He also sealed additional areas in the shower as I asked. Prompt and excellent workers. Definitely, would hire these young men again."
