"I called Water Heaters Only out of desperation on Sunday...Seth @ toll free # was fully aware of our tenants being without hot water for 2 days and was able to get a technician out on Monday morning. Monday @ 5 pm, hot water was up and running. David, the technician knew what had to be done to get the heater up and running. The next day, we did have a hiccup with a part but David came out immediately and tweaked the part -- all is good. Here is what I like -- 1. no sales pitch. 2. David gave me a plan b for possible additional work. 3. this company is available 365 days and you dont have to wait for parts to be delivered from out of state. 4. "After calling several companies in regards to tankless water heaters, we set an appointment with Kevin who was professional and knowledgable about these energy efficient water heaters.  We decided to go with Baltica because of their "can do" attitude.  They knew what was possible and what was not, even providing us with several options on where to place the water heaters and what else we could do with our piping.  Since we bought a multi-unit building that was built in the 1930s, they were very helpful in suggesting replacing certain pipes and fixtures.  Even while they were relocating pipes, they noticed an unused space behind the wall and suggested that we build a storage room.  We have since built the room and have increase our square footage and storage space (thanks Val!!). After work was completed, they were always very responsive to our request of documentation to submit for our tankless water heater rebates.  Kevin, Val, & Marius were all awesome to work with.  We would highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs, especially if you are interested in a tankless water heater.

"5.0 star rating 12/24/2016 Just had my 3rd amazing interaction with Mirsky Heating & Air Conditioning! First, my mother in law, needed a complete heating system replacement in her 100+ year old house on the west side. After receiving quotes from many different companies, we received the first straightforward evaluation of the situation from this company. They were respectful, honest, punctual, patient, and fair. Their work was fast, clean, and thorough. My VERY hard to please mother in law was thrilled with the work. Next, my mother had been receiving calls from a company, offering to do a $59 "tune up" of her heating system, to get it ready for the coming season. A very pushy technician came out and ended up frightening my almost 80 year old mother, by telling her that they`d discovered asbestos in her attic, and that she`d been breathing it since she`d lived in the house, and that it would cost her almost $1800 to remediate. They also said that she had a burnt out electronic device, and that they would do her a "favor" and not charge for fixing it, IF she signed the contract accepting the work right then. My mom called me, and I called Mr. Mirsky for a second opinion. Mr. Mirsky recognized a scam immediately, and could find no sign of asbestos anywhere. Furthermore, the device that was said to need replacement, did not, and still works today. The cost of any needed maintenance was less than 20% of what they had frightened my mom into believing was necessary, and we quickly realized that Mr. Mirsky had helped us to prevent an elder abuse scam. Our last interaction with Mirsky Heating & Cooling was a few days ago. We had had "work" done through one of the contractors for Los Angeles' energy efficiency program, where they come out and "help" homeowners to save money and reduce electrical usage. The technicians hired by the city did virtually nothing, but managed to disable our heating unit, so as to no longer function. Due to my husband being laid off, we went without heat for a very long period of time, after this occurrence. The recent cold weather in Los Angeles, and our 8 year old daughter's asthma, caused us to re-examine the heating situation. We contacted several "recommended" heating and cooling "specialists," and were shocked to find that the lowest price was said to be close to $1000, and that the only thing that we could do was to replace the heating unit. As we are still recovering from the long term unemployment, this was out of the question. We looked for Mr. Mirsky's number, and were not sure that he covered our area, but we gave it a try. Mr. Mirsky, himself, came out, and looked at our heating system. He advised us that it was his opinion, that our unit was in good repair, and that it had a short, which, with patience could be traced, and fixed. He arranged for his top technician to come to our home, and to do a full diagnostic analysis of our system. True to his word, after 2 visits, we have our heat working again, better than ever, and again, for a small fraction of what it would have cost for the system to be replaced. It is clear to me, that the people at Mirsky Heating & Cooling have a very strong work ethic, and that they will go out of their way to save customers heartache, and their hard earned dollars. I am very grateful for how we were treated, and for the quality of their work. My family and I highly recommend them."
