"Roy's crew arrived when they were supposed to, removed the old patio, and poured the concrete for both areas which are next to each other. They had to temporarily remove a chain link fence to get the equipment in to remove the concrete. Did the whole job over two days and then replaced the fence and seeded areas of the grass that needed it. The crew and the foreman Joe, worked efficiently and were professional in manner. I would not hesitate to call Roy again if I needed concrete work."

"We arranged a day to have the work done.  Due to a rain storm, the
original day for the work to be done had to be moved on short notice. 
The communication about moving the day was via a phone call, text
message and email - which I thought was excellent. 
When the new appointment day came, the crew arrived 10 minutes early. 
Everyone introduced themselves, josh reviewed the work to be done with
me, and then with the crew.  After that the crew positioned the truck,
got out their gear and got right to work.  The trees are too big for
them to use a truck or ladders, so they used ropes to climb up into the
tree canopy (no spikes used) and started pruning and removing dead
branches.  They worked for 4 hours with no breaks, stopped for about an
hour at lunch time, then did another 2 hours.  After the trimming work,
there was a bunch of branches on the ground, which they put through
their chipper/shredder, raked up the area, and used a blower to finish. 
If you didn't know what had happened, you'd never have been able to
tell anything was previously on the lawn.
All in all - it was a quality experience.  Work was done right by a
professional crew.  Communication was excellent.  Price was fair and
reasonable.  I'd definitely be willing to hire them again."

"We had hired Craig in August 2018 to put a comprehensive drainage system in our back yard, which is still proving to be an excellent investment due to he and his team's outstanding work. When we had another drainage issue, this time in our front yard, he was our first and only choice to come take a look. We needed to figure out where an underground pipe in the front of our house was draining, since water was forming at the front corner of our property. A Roto Rooter serviceman told us that the pipe was crushed and needed to be replaced. And when I called Craig to see if he could do it, he said he wanted to take a look first. He brought a few of his team members to our house and dig some digging, both where the water was forming and where the pipe begins at the front of our house. It turned out the pipe does not go to the front of our property at all, but moves a few feet from the house and goes straight down to a dry well. Instead of charging us for labor or simply telling us Roto Rooter was right and offering to replace the pipe, Craig not only told us we could hold off on doing anything, he also didn't charge us for the labor at all. This type of integrity has been hard to find as we have done home improvements over the past few years. It's why Craig's cell phone number is the only contractor's number I've saved in my phone. We consider him a lifetime relationship, and he's the only one we will ever call for this or any type of landscaping work."

"Project Result: Excellent - far exceeded expectations.

Frank Fasolo arrived early for our appt for an estimate.  We discussed the nature of the project: to remove all visible traces of the inground koi pond - bring all of the area (which included a raised garden bed) to grade.  He gave me a ball park estimate of the cost and said the project would take about 3 days to complete.  He followed up with an email outlining what we discussed.
I made my decision to use Greenfield and emailed Frank.  We negotiated a bit,  made the date for the job to begin and the rest is history.
Frank arrived with his worker on a Saturday morning with two jack hammers and immediately began working.  The process he outlined worked flawlessly.  He knew exactly where to start. The cement walls of the pond were on average about 1'6" thick and the depth at its lowest is 4'6".  He started with the "hardest first" and proceeded around the pond where the structure changed to an all tiled platform, raised garden bed and a waterfall. The objective was to bring down the pond to grade (1'6") and then another 1-2 feet below grade to be filled with topsoil.  The debris was to be left in the pond.
There were a few unknowns that popped up - one example:  We knew that there was 'some' rebar but not to the extent we found once the work began.  We knew that there was a 275 gallon plastic drum filled with lava rock (for filtration) buried under the waterfall.  What we didn't know was that it was caged in steel and rebar!!  Unearthing the drum was probably one of the hardest parts of the project.  The steel/rebar was removed, the drum was cut to fold down on itself and then covered with debris.  The project did take 3 days to complete.
The final result is a beautifully restored area of my backyard that is now suitable for planting or a patio or a stone grill or nothing at all.  By the way the clean-up was better than the way it looked before the demolition.
Frank demonstrated great skill, experience and professionalism.  He was on site throughout the project and worked along side of his worker. 
I almost forgot - Frank not only laid and compacted the topsoil - he voluntarily fenced in the area so that my dogs wouldn't be able to dig in the dirt.
Greenfield deserves accolades for a job well done by an expert. Thanks a million Frank.  I'll see you soon to pave the walkway (once I find the bricks). :-)"

"Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done. "Paul came over to inspect existing conditions and provide two options on replacement equipment. I chose to go with the Navien NCB-240E unit to replace both water heater and boiler since both were at or near the end of service life. Installation was scheduled for about 2 weeks later, and Paul's crew show up on time, and proceeded to make quick work of the demo, in a clean and safe manner. The new Navien unit hangs on a wall, and after spending the rest of the day repiping and rewiring, I was pleasantly surprised to see all the free space where my old units used to reside, and the extremely neat and compact installation now condensed in a small corner of my basement. Very please with the efficiency, cleanliness and professionalism of Paul's crew, and would definitely hire them again."

"Tom was very polite and knew his stuff when he came over for the estimate.  Always on time and if he was running late called.    Estimate was very competitive with others after a little bit of going back and forth with provider.   I made sure to be very specific on understanding what was a typical installation as included in the price and what I wanted done.  Worked with Kelly in their office who was very helpful in scheduling and any questions along the way.   They took care of permits and inspections.   They started the job on the promised date.  Full project took about a week.  Stopped over to see progress on first day and noticed some walls were not totally removed as promised.  After crew called back to the office to confirm they finished up as required.    Jackhammered the perimeter floor and installed drain without any issue.  They were able to use existing sump pits with some effort but they did it.  Existing floor tiling cut as straight as possible when trench was dug to allow for replacement tiles after installation.   Could have easily just tore the floor up without regard for owner having to replace but they didn't.  Stuff in basement was covered the best they could but there is a lot of dust with this work.  Fans & filters used to minimize mess.    After completion of work noticed some damage to drop ceiling and some other small issues when I did the final walk thru before final payment.  Spoke with project manager over the phone and described what was wrong.  Foreman and project manager stopped over to see the issues and spent the day correcting everything...going to Home Depot to buy whatever was needed, making repairs, etc.     Things happen during a job but these guys really took care of things the right way to keep the customer happy.  i would definitely recommend Healthy Way for this type work.
