"Gustavo was highly prompt, professional and did an excellent job. 1) Promptness - He responds to requests on time, shows up on time, does the job on time 2) Professional - He is very thorough and is very professional from the paperwork, communication of what will happen, payment, terms, etc. 3) Quality - the work is impressive. I had a sink that was under tiles and he removed the tiles, replaced the sink, faucet, and garbage disposal and replaced with high quality replacements. Would not hesitate to recommend Escamilla plumbing and rooter."

"When a pipe burst in our garage, we were pretty stressed trying to figure out what to do. Ron came out right away, shut everything off, and replaced the section of pipe that broke. He worked quickly but also took the time to explain what had happened and how to avoid it in the future. Really grateful for how calm and professional he was in a stressful situation. "

"I called for an analysis and estimate on a Fri. morning. Marco (owner) came that afternoon. I'd had two other estimates for replacement of under house pipes for sewer system and the pipe from the house to the street. Marco told me that I didn't need to replace the under house pipes, that they would be good for the next 10 years. The job was done the next morning. Six men did a trenchless removal and replacement of the pipe to the street (main sewer line), which was original from 1954, and updated the cleanout so that it's now two way. Tomas, Jose and Dorian were three of the repairmen. Everyone was polite and efficient. I can't evaluate the actual repair, but I found this company on Yelp. I chose Marco because of the high number of 5 star reviews. He saved me thousands in apparently unneeded pipe repair. He has been in business for 20 years. We did negotiate over the cost, and I feel that the ultimate cost was reasonable and fair."

"Jesus repaired the leaking water pipes behind the shower valve. It was Sunday, but his response was quick and he showed up on time. I think he is the best honest plumber I ever met. He did a great job with reasonable price."

"JPC team did an excellent, professional job on our storm water sump pumps related project. (Two sump pumps were working; they did not need repairs.) 1) Cut and replaced two broken pipes; installed new valves 2) New float sensors installed and set to auto-start the sump pumps 3) long outflow pine, connecting to city's water drainage system, was cleaned using long snake and high pressure water pump combination. 4) successful final test with water filled in water chamber and sump pumps working 5) JPC gave warranty for work done and signed up for once-a-year annual maintenance visit in October."

"The plumber arrived on time, assessed the work to be done and the setting, and provided us with an estimate for five separate options. He thought he needed help, but no one was available from his company. So he went out to the plumbing supply store to pick up supplies we had not provided (we had purchased all of the replacement faucets, and two of the four shutoff valves). He worked diligently and finished the project by late afternoon. Our only complaint was that the plumber did not set the drain plugs properly. I spent about an hour resetting the “open” position so that liquids would drain properly."

"Evan did a great job. I tried to remove the tub faucet myself, but it didn't budge. Evan had the right tool for the job and it came right off and he replace the faucet with a high quality replacement. Next I showed him the leaky faucet connection under my kitchen sink. He found that the O-ring was damage. Evan fixed the leak without having to buy a new Grohe faucet. Finally, he replaced all the RO filters on my Reverse Osmosis system. I had a great experience with Evan and will call him again. He is a professional."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Mountain View, CA

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
