"I showed Dustin what I wanted done, he looked it over and gave me a rough estimate. He told me a time he would be here to get started but called in advance to let me know they were "tied up" (very nice of him to do that, instead of me guessing what happened). On the new date he gave me (only a couple of days later) they showed up, completed the excavation, built the forms and told me the concrete would be here the next day. Also, they followed the rough drawing, I gave them, very closely. The concrete arrived when they said it would, they completed the pour, did the finishing, actually removed the forms mere hours after the pour, sealed it, cleaned up after themselves and left. Excellent job, looks just as I had envisioned it. Only one complaint... they said they probably won't come back during the winter and shovel the snow off of it every morning. I'm well satisfied."

"Everything was great. They came the day they said they would. The quality was above average., They were professional and punctual. They finished within the time frame that they gave. The fixed all of the cracks in the patio and painted the concrete wall on the walkout basement. The recommendation for the color was good as well. "So - So! The overall project was just okay but not fantastic. We went with DeRisio even though he was more expensive because he seemed to know what he was talking about. At the end of the project, the brick work on the front of the building still has mortar stains although they claim they acid washed it several times. They replaced a brick door sill with a something they bent out of aluminum trim material. After repeated requests to fix it, they offered to put in a slate sill. I said that would be okay. Well, over one year later, it still isn't done. They replaced an exterior door that hasn't latched properly from the day it was installed. Great guys - but lousy workmanship. I wouldn't have them back."

"He did a beautiful job. He stopped one day and gave me some references. We went and looked at his work and thought he did a good job. He was a good worker. I think he is kind of a gypsy mason guy. He'll do anything but he doesn't have an actual stone and mortar business, I think he just works out of his house. He has also done our 3 bay garage floor for us. My experience has been very good. He is responsive and he does exactly what he tells you he is going to do. When he is finished it is exactly how he describes it. Sometimes, in construction, especially when you are dealing with concrete, these guys get a little sloppy, a little messy. He ended up producing exactly what he described. Both my wife and I talked to him about it because it's a driveway, it's the entry to your house and you don't want some piece of junk when they get through. I've seen some pretty poor concrete work over the years. So far, it is also very stable, it hasn't broken up or cracked. He put the stress cracks in the right place. He's very good at what he does. He is a little bit slow getting back to you from when he quotes. When he's on the job he's fast, so I don't want to give him a rating that looks bad. When you are trying to get him to do the job, he is kind of slow in that area. He will tell you a date and something will happen and he'll call you. But when he is here, when he is committed he is very fast and he is very responsive."
