"The name Aqua Doctor is very fitting for Chris and his team, because it sounds like a super hero and that is definitely what they are! After a brutal week of cold a few weeks ago I went to turn on a faucet to have water shooting out from the pipe. Thankfully I knew where the shut off valve was, and searched Angies List to find a reputable contractor for what I hoped would be a simple repair. The repair wasn’t simple, which made having a true professional like Chris even more important. Not only had one of the pipes under the sink blown out, but Chris and his thorough inspection showed me a pipe behind the wall in the shower was also leaking. Had I tried to fix the pipe myself or hired some novice I doubt that would have been found, which have resulted in leaking in my walls and under the floor for who knows how long before it was found. There unfortunately a good amount of damage, and Chris and his team helped in so many ways but I will just name a few. First, they did work beyond what a typical plumber would do. His crew came in and pulled out tile and opened the walls to get to the leaking pipes. More about that in a bit, but another critical piece was he helped me navigate the confusing and tricky area of dealing with your insurance company. He did what my insurance company didnt seem able to do, which is example to me in simple terms how the process works, and he spoke directly with the company probably 6 or 7 times as the project was moving forward on what needed to be done and why to help get every possible dollar of his bill covered. As the project was moving along and the team had to walls to do the repairs, we learned this part of the home was not built to code. We had plumbing on an outside wall without an insulated wall in between. This meant the proper way to repair it was to move the water lines for the shower, toilet and sink by jackhammering into the concrete foundation. It’s a miracle I didnt pass out when I learned that, but once again Chris took the time to explain to me in simple terms what had to be done, to show me, explain why, and then get not he phone with the insurance agency to get it covered. He even facilitated working with the village inspector to make use all the documentation needed to prove this was required by the village was in place. This along would have been $4,400 out of my pocket if Chris hadn’t been thorough and diligent to working with the insurance. Other contacts would hand me a bill and let me figure it out, but Chris helped me the entire way. His team worked hard and fast to get everything in sorted out quickly, and Chris even connected me with another familiar member who offered to do the additional repairs like drywalling, paint, etc. Chris and his team turned what could have been an absolute nightmare into a relatively painless process and really worked hard to minimize my out of pocket spend. And when the project was over and I tried to tip him for going way above and beyond me didn’t even want to accept the cash so I gave it to his workers. I just cant say enough for Chris and his hard work and work ethic. And if this wasn’t enough to convince you to use Aqua Doctor I will leave you with one more meaningful example. When the village came out to look at what had to be done to comply with code, I could see the relief on the face of the village inspector that I was using Aqua Plumbing because they knew the job would be done right."

The job was done with the highest degree of professionalism and the cost was reasonable. I was so pleased that I scheduled a second appointment on 11/23/2015 for power4 rodding and to install bathroom faucet.

The men were pleasant and very professional - in addition they took off their shoes at the door and cleaned up when done. Unfortunately on the job for the bathroom faucet the old pipe to sewer was corroded and they had to go out and get additional parts which they did and the price to correct my issue was reasonable.

This is the best plumbing service I have used in the last 20 years so going forward if I have plumbing work done it will ONLY be done by AAA Walsh and sons.

They were very thorough and progressed through multiple steps of rodding and jetting before finally having to dig in the yard to add a cleanout to resolve my sewer issue. He did an tremendous job fixing busted pipes, had lines busted, he gave me an fantastic price, fixed the concrete, and everything. "Trust! I think trust is most important in choosing an expert to fix a problem. Of course experience, knowledge, ability and integrity are also needed. But trusting the reviews written by others or trusting the recommendation of a friend is sometimes all we have to go by. I had a clogged drain about 15 feet “downstream” from my kitchen sink. It was the result of overzealous use of the garbage disposal. I tried snaking the drain myself but the clog was too big (turns out about 2 feet of drain was totally blocked). I did research on several websites looking for a plumber in my area who I could trust to do the work right - at a fair price. I narrowed the list to 4 companies. At 7:15 PM on a weekday I called each of them. I got two answering services that could not answer any of my technical questions, another said they would have someone call me back “in a few minutes” (never happened) and then there was Dmitry. Dmitry is one of the owners of CJ Plumbing. He answered the phone himself. He was able to discuss my issue intelligently, explain the likely scenarios and give me an estimated price range (min and max) for the job. It was clear from his questions and his input that he understood the problem and knew the likely solutions. As it turns out, he was absolutely correct about the issue and what it would take to fix it. I wanted to consider what he said before making a commitment. He said I could call him back anytime in the next few hours. I called several hours later and again he answered the phone and we scheduled a visit for the following afternoon. The plumber who showed up (not the person I spoke to) was a delight to work with. He was professional, polite, and patient as he answered my many questions. He tried a few “easy” options to fix the problem (e.g. using a powered drain snake). When those did not work he said the best option was to cut out the clogged section of drain (which he had located) and replace it with a new section of pipe. The clogged part of the pipe included two 90 degree bends. He removed that section and replaced the sharp bends with pairs of 45 degree bends to allow waste to pass through the more easily. The drain pipe ran along the ceiling of my unfinished basement so there was direct access to the pipe. After replacing the section of pipe he verified that there were no leaks and cleaned up the area of the basement where he worked as well as the area under the kitchen sink. He even cleaned the sink. I was VERY pleased with his work and with his personality. The cost of the repair was within the range quoted on the phone (though near the higher end). My trust in CJ Plumbing was rewarded by their performance and their honesty. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends and family. I recommend them to YOU."
