WHAT THIS MEANS you will not get a lien on the products installed if the roof company fails to pay for their materials. 2-No down payment and uses their own license and the installers were professional, and cleaned up every nail. 3-Price was the lowest even with a premium product. JS did not charge extra for the premium product either. 10 estimates: John Scott was the lowest, the second closest came in $600 more. "The job was done professionally and on schedule. Excellent work and excellent warrantee. Only problem was their job estimate significantly underestimated the final cost. The problem was that the estimator only saw one roof layer when there were two. One would assume that a trained estimator would know this. They charged extra for removing the second layer, which i found out about after the job was in process. Also, beware of gutter guards, which may need to be removed. If your guards are expensive, make sure reinstallation is included in the job estimate."
