"Jim's office called promptly and set an appointment. He introduced himself politely and professionally, then efficiently went about his business inspecting the roof. He took photos of several trouble spots and showed them to me, explaining what each represented. His assessment and explanation of the cause of our roof leak was thorough. he also indicated the issue is less severe and less urgent than other companies had indicated. Jim explained other things to note about our roof, particularly its age and need for a replacement in a year or two. He offered to make the minor repairs to fix the small leak since the weather & roof had been dry for a couple weeks. Jim fixed the roof - temporarily, which he clearly explained - for under $100. So far, we've had bids for $2,000 and plenty companies saying they need to replace the whole roof."

It was a very smooth process starting with a no pressure meeting with Product Specialist Dave Harrison who explained the product and process to us. He was very helpful in dealing with a few issues with our existing roof (gutters not installed correctly and old construction of area where roof lines met and leaked). He made sure the gutters were fixed properly and had the rooflines redesigned to eliminate any leaking issues. During the job the Quality Control Manager, Shaun LaForce, was on site each day and was great to deal with. The office managers, Jenna & Alexandria, were fantastic with keeping us up to date on the start dates and delivery info. The installation crew did a great job led by Alex and finished the job in 2 days despite a snowstorm in between the days, even shoveled my driveway the day after the storm! His company came in with the lowest estimate, and John was patient in explaining the process, shingle options, along with providing samples and explaining the warranty. These guys do good work, and don't take you to the cleaners along the way. While repairing my roof, 7 sheets of plywood and 122' of 2x4 were needed to replace the damaged areas of my roof. There was no extra charge for the time and material, he replaced this at at his cost, honoring the initial quote he gave me. What a gentleman and a scholar. The workers were courteous and all very hard workers. They arrived on time, cleaning up thoroughly before they left. They were able to knock my roof out in one day and didn't want a penny until it passed final inspection. They even provide a free wind mitigation report for the insurance company. Top notch company. My neighbor was so impressed by how good it looks, and how fast they knocked it out they called him too. I definitely recommend John Scott Roofing, and will use him for all my future needs. "Leo was excellent, if I could give him 10+ stars I would! Granted, we had a few setbacks with the weather and delays with shipments, but Leo kept in touch with me constantly. He has the best communication skills of any contractor I've ever worked with. I had special requests from my County and he was diligent in working with them. My mortgage and insurance company both required pictures at various times in order to release funds for payment and he was so patient. You may say, of course, he wanted to get paid; he had several jobs going at the same time and he always treated me as though I was his #1 customer. My roof is beautiful, it's stone coated metal and we love it. If you want his personal touch at a reasonable price, definitely give Leo a call, he is top notch with his work and you will be extremely satisfied as well."

"There customer service is excellent! Very responsive when you call with a question or problem. They also adjust the price as the work is being done, in my case both ways. I'll explain. I needed a roof repair after a tree fell on my home, they gave me a quote (same day!) and it was differently a fair one. The roof decking went well over the original amount quoted which to me was expected and price went up. Then they over estimated the amount of soffit needed so the subtracted that from the now new price. At the end of the day the cost went up approximately $35 for an extra 80 linear feet of roof decking! Extremely honest and fair! HIGHLY recommend Trust Roofing!"
