Jim rearranged his schedule to fit me in almost immediately. He replaced pieces of the deck, power washed, scraped, sanded, and stained the back deck. His attention to detail was very apparent. "We consider ourselves fortunate to have found this company since after a big storm it can be difficult to even get anybody to come out and give you an estimate. Mike returned our calls promptly, showed up when he said he would, did an excellent job for a fair price and on top of all that is a nice guy. What more could one ask for in a contractor? Just 3 days after the new roof was completed an even bigger hurricane (Matthew) hit. A few shingles on the northeast side that had not yet had a chance to fully cure in the heat of the sun were blown off but Mike came right out and took care of it. We definitely will use American Home Improvement and Remodeling again and in fact have already scheduled some deck repair for this spring."
