They communicated with us when we asked questions and took great care to install the pipe pitch as appropriate. They also did a superb job cleaning up our residential job site after the drain was installed. We would recommend Dave Premo and the Torres Team."

"Company review for local business-- This time: Ants short-circuited well pump switch & needed replacement (Last time a long while back: We moved in to house and needed a pump installed to existing well.) RESULTS: Both times, Billy Clark (and sometimes his crew, as needed) were fast, knowledgeable, honest, and-- to prove that last part-- reasonably priced. Both times their installation (Last time) and replacement (This time) worked just fine. Last time, power company had power surges due to bad grounding which caused unequal loading issues, and paid for replacement, but Billy and crew made good at very reasonable rates, and both service calls (Both for the new well hookup and this recent call) were fast, effective, courteous, and reasonably priced: AND-- MOST-IMPORTANTLY-- worked just fine (other than the power surge-- which was NOT well company's fault). I know enough about wells and electrical & mechanical things to know that they treated us fairly. Yeah, I'm glad to write a review for good techs. Would use again and recommend. "Technician vacuumed out the water and determined that the problem was likely related to using the wrong soap. He stayed until it was clear that the drain was working. He advised to cycle through one more time without soap. He did not charge for the service call. We have used Meares three times now, and appreciate their professionalism."

"Leak was found and plugged in light fixture (broken conduit, most likely). Arnold was very professional and thorough, kept checking all possible problems even after he found the leak, and let us know the rest of our pool plumbing was in good shape. Gave us advice to keep an eye on possible problems. Charge was a little higher because we have a combination inground spa with our pool, meaning more plumbing to check. Very happy with results."

"Greg showed up as planned for estimate. He tested the soil, determined the size needed for the house and presented 4 cost / size drain fields, from minimum to larger with longer guarantee. He pulled permits and started right when he said. The crew was very professional. It was a difficult job as a pool enclosure was added after the septic was installed(34 years old). It passed inspection. They came out the next day and relandscaped placing seed and hay. Very little disruption of any other plants or structures."

This project was done in Florida while we were in New Jersey. My wife picked the colors and fixtures and coordinated with Bryan McHugh via email and phone. Payment installment deposits were made as we went along and we made the final payment and inspection in person during our New Year's Florida visit. Somehow or another there was a miscommunication regarding the tub size and we ended up with one size smaller than she originally wanted but nothing we can't live with. To be fair, Bryan was willing to negotiate a price reduction based on our budget so it all worked out perfectly in the end.

Now, for what I believe to be the critical part of this report: Angie's List reports gave Bryan McHugh and his team exemplary grades and he deserves them! If you're looking for someone you can trust, someone who is competent, ethical, and cares about people, then this is you man. There are so many horror stories out here, one hesitates to invest hard-earned money in what ultimately can turn out to be the luck of the draw, especially in a long-distance situation. So, thanks to Angie's List for providing at least some insight into local trade-folk, and for people like Bryan McHugh, his brother, Ben, and their team. They made our happy Florida retirement retreat even happier. PS: The water temp in the first bath needed adjusting and Bryan came and did the work himself the day after New Years. How's that for seeing the customer is happy and standing behind your work! Thanks, Bryan!

"He did a good job installing the weather striping around the doors.  One door wasn't in the frame correctly and he fixed that.
They sent someone by to check on his work.  That guy talked to us about the air tightness of our home, which is great.  He kept trying to find something wrong.  It is a newer home.  He mentioned we should put energy film on one window.  I looked the film up online and found it at Home Depot.  He told us that they had to do it because "if one speck of dust is on the film" it will compromise the integrity.  One speck of dust? This isn't an ER or clean room.  He was really pushing to try and sell something else.
Because of the salesman that came 'to make sure the door work was correct' is why we won't use this company again.
