"I went with Aviv because they were considerably lower in price than any other mover in the area and had great reviews, insured, BBB, etc.  I have been moved by professionals many times before and knew what to expect. We did all of our own packing and dismantling of furniture, with the exception of a huge Ethan Allen solid wood armoire.  They took great care with it (better than any of the three previous moves) along with everything else. <br /> I did request a home visit to make sure that the time estimate was right (I completed an online form itemizing everything, but the estimate was just so much better, I wanted to make sure). The home visit produced the same estimate.  The crew arrived promptly and went straight to work.  They were very professional, pleasant... and fast!  They finagled a narrow Dorchester Street perfectly, with no disruptions.  The floor did get one small scratch during the day, but I was told by the crew not to worry that they would take care of it and their management would follow up with us.  As we approach the end of the day, and their time estimate, the guys hustled!!  The estimate was right on!  As far as the scratch went, their insurance simply reimbursed us for fixing the floor (good as new) very promptly.  The management's responsiveness was awesome. <br />"
