"Cesar and Carlos are the BEST! I have used their services multiple times. Installation of drainage system in back yard, flowerbed reconstruction, paver blocks installed for 4 beds in back including fresh dirt and plants. They also created a paver patio and did same for my front porch. I recently called then to correct blunders left by a tree service that destroyed my yard. They cleaned up the mess, created block borders fir 3 more beds, trinmed my large oak tree in front, and placed sand in holes left in yard by other group. "Work was exceptional. Ron Stevens provided a detailed estimate within my budget. Ron dispatched a crew with Alfie being the supervisor. Over the course of six days, all grass in front and back yards was removed, area leveled, and replacement St Augustine grass was provided. Mature eagleston holly trees were provided in conjunction with miscellaneous shrubs and flowers. The color combination was very attractive. The installing crew was very knowledgeable and performed their work with care and professionalism. All areas were cleaned at the end of the work day. The crew was accommodating to minor changes regarding selection of plants. A sprinkler system was provided in all areas. I rate the quality of workmanship as A+. I would highly recommend Ron and his crew for any future work and I personally would definitely use them regarding any future work at my residence. I was very pleased with the end product."

"When we purchased our house several years ago, we knew we would have to install a patio as there was nothing in our backyard but grass. We found Jay with Advanced Curb Appeal at the Houston Home and Garden Show. His booth accurately displayed the type of pavers he would use to create our patio. After taking bids from 5 other companies, Jay's prices were very competitive and I decided that Advanced Curb Appeal would be the company to install our patio. Jay met with us to get an idea of what we were looking for and approximate cost to install. He made recommendations as to color and type of paver. "Roger and his crew redid our two large patios that had been frozen in the winter. They took out the dead plants, prepared the beds for new one, purchased plants of the kinds I wanted, and installed them, and fixed the sprinkler system all within a day or so of work. I was impressed with Roger's clear desire to be sure that the work was done thoroughly and well, even if it meant making a further trips to the house on the following day. Roger is easy to work with and his prices reasonable."

"Tried to reach my usual guy and a few others with no luck. I was lucky and just happened to reach Mike on the phone. While his crews were busy in other parts of the city, Mike personally stopped by within 20 minutes of the call and located the buried water supply value to the whole sprinkler system (that no one knew anything about!) and shut it off, so we could get turn the house supply water back on and take our showers. He is sending his crew within the next 24 hours to replace the leaking PVC pipe supplying the sprinkler system. I was extremely impressed by Mike's customer orientation and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to get me up and running! The rates he quoted me for the final repair a fair and reasonable. Mike accepted no payment at this time and was just happy to allow our life to get back to normal. Great responsiveness!"

"I had problems in our back yard with water pooling during heavy rainfall and was concerned about possible flooding of our house and garage.  We have a pool and concrete patio, so I knew this was not going to be an easy fix.

Rob came out and spent about 2 hours looking over our situation and talking about options.  After he left, he came up with a single plan with components so we could proceed one step at a time, then wait and evaluate the success of that step or do a number of steps at once. 

Since we we were very concerned about the possibility of flooding, we elected to proceed with regrading, adding an exterior drainage line from the garage to the street, replacing an existing line from the house to the street, adding catch basins and re-grading areas around the house and garage.

The work was done at the days and times arranged; the crew was very considerate and professional and the work was beautiful.  

Most importantly, we have had several very heavy rainfalls and the solutions we had implemented by Works By Rob are performing as well as we had hoped.   We had no accumulation of water and no worries!"
