"I had a very mixed experience with Precision Garage Door Service of Jacksonville. On the service side, it was excellent. My garage door would not close late on a Friday evening because a cable had come off the pulley, and they responded very quickly. The technician was friendly, professional, communicative, and explained everything clearly. I did not feel pressured into any decision. He showed me that the pulleys, cables, and rollers were badly worn and recommended replacing them, which seemed reasonable given the age of the parts and the situation. My frustration is with the price. I understand emergency evening service costs more, and I approved the work, but paying over $1,200 for about 90 minutes of work was very hard to accept after learning the parts themselves cost under $100. So while the technician and service were excellent, I left very disappointed with the overall pricing."

Before leaving he ensured I was pleased with his work and showed me how to program my remotes , including the external wireless keypad. He demonstrated experience and a good working knowledge when responding to my various questions during the repairs and installation of the new garage door motor. It's not very often you can find a professional repair person who will take the time to educate his customer to ensure a completely satisfied customer and who will make a customer feel at ease with their choice in hiring this specific company."
