During the walkthrough BEFORE the work started, Dominick pointed out a few things and we came up with a plan for the project. Dominick and his crew showed up on time every day and worked non-stop until the project was completed. The work was excellent! When electrical and plumbing issues came up, Dom found a solution. He was a pleasure to work with. Always responsive to every question or idea. He had great suggestions along the way and really took pride in his work. The project lasted a month when others had taken 6-8weeks and stayed very close to budget even though I had made a few additions to the original proposal. As a landlord I have used many contractors over the years. HD Renovations were the best! I look forward to working with them in the future!"

"The team at Avstep were amazing. So friendly and helpful. They replaced our garage roof and helped us with joist work. They were right on time, were super efficient, and organized and cleaned as they were working. It was so nice to talk with them and were very upfront and honest. The whole job was explained in professional detail and gave us a quote for the job that we felt was very fair. The work started the next day and was completed in a day and a half. "Our project was a 14' x 14' screened porch. We selected Scott SCS from other contractors based on the interview, his knowledge, understanding of the project, and communication skills. He improved our original design and made numerous suggestions during the construction process. He understood our vision of the porch and he delivered. From start to finish Scott and his work crew were always on time, polite, professional, and cleaned up the area before departing every day. I was on site watching and taking photos. "It is the 2nd time I hired them it was opposite of the 1st. It was everything you worry about with contractors. Professionalism: Constantly foul cursing arguments. It made my infant baby cry and my wife upset. His last text was I should have given you a middle finger. LOW CLASS Cost: He lowered cost on the job as a repeat customer but complained about it every day. It was used as an excuse for why he delayed the job and needed to cut corners. He made me pay full price for an unfinished job so I finished it myself Quality: It was measure once cut twice instead of measure twice cut once. Most materials were ready at the start for weeks. He had plenty of time to measure and plan it out. Instead the installs were misaligned. When things broke his 1st words was it is not my fault or it came out of the box that way. Then threatened to charge me to fix it. He picked low quality products & complained when I changed to a better product. Details were ignored, unfinished, trim wrong color"
