"We hired Mr. Scantling and his crew to redo the drywall on a floor to ceiling fireplace and rebuild a half wall previously done by an incompetent contractor and to repair/replace bulging splayed corner seams throughout the house. I was very nervous because we'd had such a bad experience with the previous contractor but Mr. Scantling and his men did excellent work and were very efficient. They finished the whole job in just under two days while being considerate of our schedules (my husband works from home). They didn't mind answering all my questions and were a very congenial crew. But the best part (for me) was that they truly did clean up after the job. This was one of the cleanest home repair/remodeling jobs we've had done in quite a while. I shopped windows like crazy. They have their own special window that is very nice and energy efficient.

They scheduled the roof first. Two days later they did my siding and windows.

Excellent cleanup.

They were not the lowest price, but were close. About $1000 higher than the lowest bid.

"It went very good.  They are very professional.  I was really impressed by how well the job they did.  I had a walk way made out of wood, treated wood, after they were finished with it, looked brand new.  I mean before it looked green and looked like it needed to be replaced.  There were some extra charges, because of the shed, the cost didn't include the shed and the deck.  I think it was an additional $25.  They were late, they had trouble with a machine.  They called me up though so not sure how to rate that.  They called me, well actually to tell you the truth, the first time I called them they never showed up.  That was probably the only thing that got me.  Not sure I'd use them again, maybe, I'd probably price around again.  It was a little expensive, a little bit on the pricey side.  The $225 kind of lures you in and then add more for this and that, so it's not exactly.  They did a good job so, I've had other people before and they didn't do a good job.  They had the right, I think the big expense was they had the right machinery there.  They had this big huge machine on the back of their truck, where most people just come in with a pressure washer and just pressure wash your house.  They put some chemical on, kind of like bleach or something then they just sprayed it right off.  I'd say I probably will use them again.  I'm going to look around a little bit more this time.  Everything kind of evens out.  I think maybe give a more realistic, like with Angie's List, they have that blanket $225 or whatever and it's not $225.  It's kind of deceiving, because it's not really $225.  You have to pay more for other stuff.  I guess it did say the additional structure would cost more.  So I guess it is fair, you are just going to pay more.  They are just expensive that's all."
