Richard responded immediately for estimate, we agreed, completely repaired CORRECTLY. Started work w/in 5 days of estimate. Repaired in 1 day. "John and his crew were easy to work with. He stuck to his quote, worked with us on payment, and worked with the vendors when there were any issues with material or timing. John always kept us in the loop in regards to when different stages of the project would be completed. He even worked with our neighbors since the deck and fence are up to the property line. "Went to store front on saturday to look at sample railings. Staff was very helpful. Gave me some catalogues to take home and an appointment for Tuesday for an estimate. On Tuesday Jeff called and said he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come an hour earlier. Came and showed us some examples and discussed how certain railings would look and what our steps could "handle". Made our selection and got an install date for 2 weeks later. At 9am on 11/12 Alex and his associate showed up and got to work. The two men were professional and meticulous about what they were doing. It seeemed as thought they were installing the railings on their own home. When they were done they cleaned the area so it looked like the railings were always there. The finished work is perfect and we are thrilled that we chose Fence Depot.

"Although I was nervous  and anxious to have to go through all the work required to repair and paint, especially because until this leak, our paint job was in good shape, Nick Montagnese assured me it was quite fixable and would look as good as new.  He was right!  His men were professionals who took much time preparing the rooms before painting to insure they didn't damage or mark up anything in the house.  They moved whatever needed to be moved.  They were delightful and not intrusive, and used little booties and special work shoes rather than their outdoor shoes.  Since I had a busy schedule and was beholden to other workmen to complete their work first, Nick was patient and flexible so that the work got done without my having to stress over the scheduling of the work.  They matched up my paint, and a foreman came by each day to start the day and check in to be sure I was happy.  I was even given a pad to leave notes but since the charming young men were quite approachable, I was able to talk to them directly.  I had known Nick's father since this is a family- run business and never once did I have to worry about who was in my home and if the work would be done well.  While it was expensive to do the work, clearly, the time and labor put in to be sure the work was done carefully and without any damage to my home- with absolutely no stress on us - was worth whatever difference there may have been.  Anything that had to be removed was, and everything was put back.  Since they had to paint the ceiling in my family room which has books shelves with expensive items on it, everything was carefully covered so that only protruding items had to be removed.  I highly recommend Ipaint for any special painting done as well.  I have no doubt that they would do an excellent job an anything they say they can do. Experience and personal attention go hand in hand with Nick's desire to continue to offer an outstanding service to those who request his expertise.

"I cannot say enough good things about Scott fence! First, he arrived for an estimate as promised. He did get lost and I missed his call but he called several times until he got me & arrived promptly as soon as i explained where i was. He made recommendations based on the area we wanted to fence that were extremely helpful and showed his level of experience. The price he gave is was fantastic, considering he works with true PVC vinyl fencing (he beat out another fence company by atleast $500). We met with Scott Fence 2 more times after the initial consultation: the 2nd time, he was kind enough to give us time to speak to our neighbors about the upcoming installation, and even helped mediate minor debates about property line & fence placement. He was EXTREMELY helpful with this, which i had to mention because no fence company is responsible for making your neighbors feel ok with fence installation, but Scott Fence took this challenge without hesitation. The third time we met was to finalize the contract. He was able to install the fence 3 days later! His crew arrived as promised that Saturday morning, and worked throughout the day to finish the job. There was a tiny miscommunication: one neighbor already had 4ft pvc fencing and while we wanted to go with 5 ft, we told Scott Fence we wanted to match the neighbors' fence in height, but it was misunderstood as height and style (we installed plain solid & the neighbor has lattice topped fence). Initially I was going to give the go ahead to install but i later told Scott Fence that i wasnt crazy about the lattice fence and he said no worries, that he would order the correct fencing free of charge and install what i wanted. He is truly all about making his customers happy. There was even a small section of unfenced area in out back yard that was previously blocked with cinderblocks that he fenced for free! I also want to mention, he had no idea i found him on Angies list, not until the 2nd visit. I intentionally did not mention it because i like to see the true colors of service providers when they are not focused on getting a good review. There is more that we plan to fence in the future and we will not hesitate to contact Scott Fence. Glenn, the main contact, is wonderful. Cheerful, informative and definitely about his business.
