"I have utilized the services of my local ACE Handyman Services for several years now and I am yet to be dissatisfied. Earlier this week, Jay from the Royal Oak division completed some work on my 3 exterior doors and he replaced 2 cracked wooden steps leading to my back utility room. Jay was very receptive to my questions and provided explanations for the work he conducted; mainly to tightly seal some leaks that were causing noticeable drafts in this cold weather. My 2 new steps are sturdy and I am pleased with them. The seals around my doors are neat, clean and effective. Jay also took the time to hear my plans for near future improvements I have planned and he provided constructive and helpful feedback. I do intend to have ACE complete this work as well!"

Normal with new garage doors they replaced the door, the springs and the track. My only observation - the clean-up could have been better as there were pieces of debris missed. "I received Corey’s information from my realtor, Jade Wimpey, who knows Corey very well as a friend, but most importantly, a great great inspector. I had never had a home inspection done, but I had friends and family who recently had, and they commented (negatively) on their performance. Corey was on time and SO thorough. He opened every door, turned on every faucet, turned on every fan, flicked every switch, opened every window, you name it. The pricing from Weatherstone was also fair, and even more fair when Corey discovered that the home had a ¾ crawlspace, which was not apparent or listed with this home that had a ¼ basement. He went in (obviously with a charge because who wants to go in a crawlspace?) and saved us some $$ at the end. Through his pictures, explanations, and adventures throughout the home, we were able to use Corey’s findings to ask the seller to fix some major annoyances. You know what they say, the first time’s the charm for a home inspection!"
