"We hired Seven Star Improvement to replace the shower in our bathroom. We had gotten quotes from multiple contractors, but Seven Star gave us an excellent fixed-price quote and were way less complicated than the other contractors who quoted us. They removed our old shower and took everything down to the studs. They replaced any rotten or compromised wood and completely replaced the plumbing going into the shower. They even made improvements to our outdoor spigot that tied into the same pipes. They used all Delta fixtures and components, and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Also, working with Kenny was fantastic, and he was always available to answer any questions I had along the way. I am looking forward to calling Seven Star again for future projects!"

"From the very beginning with the salesman who knocked on our door to the salesman who came to our home, to the finished job, everything has been outstanding. Both salesman were very courteous and in no way pushy. They were both obviously very confident in their product, but there was no pressure. When we were finalizing the sales agreement the representative informed us of a substantial discount for signing at the time. This was in my opinion no way a pressure technique as you would expect. He offered it once only in a very low key way explaining that it saved the company money if he did not have to come back later which would prevent him from new sales calls, so that savings was offered to us. He urged us to think it over and to not do it unless we were completely comfortable, in fact suggesting that we shop around. He then dropped it and didn't mention it again. The entire interaction was very good with no pressure or shadiness. We had siding, gutters, and a new entrance door installed. The crews (a different crew for each job, and obviously very skilled at it), were all very nice and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up thoroughly every day and listened to questions and acted on them without question or hesitation. Every crew was great and got the jobs completed quickly. There was no down time during the installations or between jobs. Everything was done in just over a week. The quality of the work and the materials is very high. Power is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. When considering the quality of the materials and workmanship, the timeline of installation, and the unbeatable warranty, I think that they are a good value. We are very pleased with the project and have had no issues are problems at all. We highly recommend Power Home Remodeling."

"Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement."

We would definitely recommend this company to a friend or family member needing service. That would love for the job to get done right in a reasonable time frame. The project supervisor Shane, was very trusting and reliable. He made sure to be on site to answer any question or even build a small talk conversation. He won't leave you disappointed. "I rarely, if ever give 5 star reviews. But, I DO recommend Maynor Construction (MC)! But, 5 = perfection, and nothing is perfect : ) I hired MC for cement siding and sunroom addition project, beginning in June of 22, ending Sep, 22. I will review the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. But, this doesn't cover everything, because Home Advisor only allows so many characters. Finally, this was my first (major) home improvement project and likely the largest investment I will ever make in my home. The Good - Maynor (owner) is a very knowledgeable and a skilled builder, with many years of experience. I appreciated that he was actually on site many days, not only supervising, but also working along side his team. - The administrative staff was magnificent. Responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, and available. Having the right people in the front office can make or break a business. Hire the right people to manage the office and it will pay dividends toward the success of your company...in my humble opinion. - I had fiber cement siding installed on my home, and a sunroom that replaced an old, broken-down outdoor breezeway. This was no easy project and teams of highly-skilled workers were at my home daily, typically from before 8am until nearly sundown - and even partially on Saturdays. We were blessed with very little rain through the 3 months, which accelerated the work. Maynor's team worked very hard, moved efficiently, and maintained a great level of skill throughout the process. The Bad - For the most part, none of my utilities were affected all that much. Utility boxes were moved away at the beginning, were moved back at the end, and worked just fine. I also had a lot of electrical added and moved throughout the project, but alterations and small inconveniences were to be expected. However, there was a problem when it came to Maynor's (unintended) disruption of my ATT Fiber. While there was no cutting of that fiber, the siding was installed over the fiber and it shut down my internet. Maynor's workers claimed innocence, but it was clearly something for which they were likely responsible. The fiber cable box was moved back into place, and when I got home the internet wasn't working any longer. This required ATT to come out and reinstall the fiber cable and box that came into my house from the outside. - Kitchen flooring fix. I have a very small special strip of (tiled) kitchen flooring that had to be removed during the remodel because I wanted a small portion of a wall removed. Years ago, this strip was created with very cool, colored, (intentionally) broken glass tiles. But, sadly those tiles are no longer available. Happily, I found some of the original kitchen tile that Maynor could break-up into pieces and install into the strip. I approved a change order for Maynor to fill-in that strip of flooring, which required some pretty major cutting of the floor and sub floor. However, they cut the floor crooked and at an unpleasing angle. And, while it is not terrible, it is very noticeable to me and I wish Maynor had done a better to cut the area straighter. I can live with it, but someday I will need to replace the entire kitchen floor to maintain the professional look. The Ugly - While I live in a populated area, with restaurants, a gas station, hotels, etc... workers, laboring in extremely hot summer conditions, even with lots of shade, require lots of hydration. Those fluids need to go somewhere! Unfortunately, there were at least two instances (likely more), I personally witnessed workers finding their own ways to relieve themselves - not inside my home, nor at the gas station just next door. I complained to Maynor and they promptly brought in, at their expense, a Porta Potty, which would remain for the duration of the project. But, I had to ask them to include and only after I discovered what was happening on my property. Ove..."

"Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. "We cannot say enough good things about Atlantic Siding and its owner, Jack
Malcolm. In point of fact we cannot critique one without the other.
  Our
Certainteed siding began show troubling signs of wear just three or four years
after installation. Gaps grew at the seams; slats bowed and warped; on windy
days the cumulative noise of the clattering of loose boards became unnerving;
and eventually slats began to fall from the house. We begrudgingly began the
tedious process of seeking out an honest and reputable company to re-side our
family home.
  For about three weeks, a succession of "salesmen" sat in our
living room discussing measurements, materials, and promises.  Jack Malcolm is
no salesman, but a working owner-supervisor whose word is final. He reports only
to the customer and himself.
  When Jack walked in with his thick Jamaican
accent, we slowly began to grasp that here was a man of honesty, integrity, an
absolute belief in Hardy Siding,  an enthusiastic pride in his own
craftsmanship, and a work-ethic seldom found on the American scene anymore. 
Here was a working wisdom that we grew to  trust implicitly. And we made no
mistake doing so. We struck a deal at a very reasonable price, a price to which
Jack never wavered. Once the price was set, that was it. There were no hidden or
revealed costs.
  JACK IS THE REAL DEAL. He climbs the ladders and works
along those he supervises. He exercises full oversight and follows a harsh
schedule, overseeing every detail of every task with the cautious eye of long
experience. Jack actually cares about the finished product which he calls his
true "signature" and drives his men in a pursuit of QUALITY, not quantity, and
that's a very rare attitude in these days of paying top dollar for minimal
effort. The men that work at Jack Malcolm's side are no apprentices, but veteran
craftsmen each  trained by Jack individually over DECADES and experienced in the
art of dressing a home's exterior.
  Over the two weeks needed to re-side
our 3850 square-foot house, Jack made suggestions and offered his working
experience on so many refining points. His painters  detailed our homes exterior
woodwork and guttering. [ At one point he even installed a storm door over a
side door to the garage. Why? To protect the woodwork and jams from the weather,
a detail ignored by the original builders. I bought a door at Lowes, and one day
Jack, with one of his men, installed it beautifully. ] Vents were covered with
cages once he discovered a bird presence. Torn screens found experienced hands
to repair them. Faux-shutters were painted and re-anchored to our front brick.
  In the end, our home was astonishingly beautiful and renewed, far beyond
that provided by the siding alone. The care and detailing, the work ethic, the
experience and taste, for a most conservative price tag, and with an overall
enthusiasm and old world craftsmanship, make my wife and I want to proclaim our
complete admiration for the Atlantic Siding Company. Well done and thank you so
much.

"We would highly recommend Waters Custom Exteriors for roofing, siding, and guttering as they are top notch Professionals!!! From the initial phone call to get an estimate on a new roof, Travis was very helpful. After arriving at our house to look at the roof and give us a replacement estimate Travis said we should contact our insurance company and have an adjuster come to the property to see the shingles, siding, and guttering that had been damaged from a previous hail storm. We scheduled with the adjuster and Travis came out on the arranged day and went on the roof with the adjuster and pointed out the damage that he had seen. Waters Custom Exteriors is definitely the company everyone needs when working with an insurance company. They knew exactly what was needed to move the claim forward and from that point forward until completion of the job Waters Custom Exteriors handled everything with the insurance company. The crew that Waters had performing the work on the roof was eager to get started and arrived early on the scheduled day with a dump trailer to haul away the debris from the tear-off and they quickly got underway. All of the materials needed to complete the roof were being delivered mid-morning as the final removal of the old shingles was wrapping up. There were a few underlayment boards that were bad that got replaced before they started putting down the new roof. By later in the evening, the shingles had been all put down and the new roof looked amazing. The new shingles were the architectural type and a welcomed upgrade to the standard three tab shingle that was previously on the house. When finished, the crew walked the property and picked up any debris from the project and rolled a magnet through the yard numerous times to insure all nails on the ground were picked up and when the job was completed, it was almost as if they had never been there. After the roof job, the siding went just as smoothly with a different crew sent out by Waters Custom Exteriors. Just as before, they showed up early on the scheduled day and got straight to work. The tear-off went quickly and any repairs to the underlying structure were completed before beginning the residing. All necessary materials needed to finish the job were delivered the night before and neatly stacked out of the way in the drive. The siding job obviously took longer than the roof, and each day the crew was on-site they were busy and polite, although there was little interaction with them as they were dedicated to staying on task. They were very meticulous and took pride in the work they were performing and it shows in the finished product. Each day the old siding and debris removed from the house was loaded onto a truck and hauled away leaving nothing unsightly in the yard. Once all of the siding was complete and the site cleaned up, there was a period of time before the fascia and guttering could be installed. This was at no fault of Waters. The color we had chosen was out of stock and would not be available for a couple of weeks. Waters gave us the option to pick another color or wait it out. We waited. When the material arrived at the house, it was again neatly stacked out of the way in the drive and Waters Custom Exteriors came out and installed it promptly. The house looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier. Waters saved us a huge amount of money by being there for us and working with the insurance to cover the damage from the hail storm. We would not hesitate to use Waters Custom Exteriors for any future projects at our house and would highly recommend that you use them as well."
