"Marc Cowan and his Highland Window Company are the best, from quotation to completion. We are extremely happy with our new Harvey windows and the installation crew Neal, Hilton and Dean, was fantastic. We can't recommend Highland Windows highly enough! They really deserve their "A", 5-star rating. So pleased that we have also recently had them quote on siding replacement."

"A soft wall due to improperly installed gutter by some other entity or homeowner caused water to constantly leak into the wall from the exterior roofline. This soft wall grow moldy and become riddled with pests/bugs. The contractor identified the potential issues, agreed to explore and open the walls and discuss the conditions, made sound recommendations for repair and did exactly what was noted in the repair (replaced a load bearing exterior wall, fixed the sill plate, completed the roof, shingles etc. and closed up the walls on the inside with insulation and sheet rock.). The work was timely, well done, the workers were clean as they did the job and kept the rest of the property clean. The manager of the job David Apel was and is an excellent communicator with phone/email/text and photos of processes and progress. I am going to use this company in my own investment endeavors on other properties and projects given the level of finished work, the timing and especially the level of detailed communication."

"We used Home Genius Exteriors to replace some siding on our home. It was a great experience from start to finish --- beginning with the estimator using drone footage to show us areas that needed to be replaced. We found the prices to be competitive with other companies in the area and they were able to schedule the work at our convenience, which was nice. On the day of the job, the team arrived promptly and worked hard throughout the day. At one point it seemed like it would turn into a two-day job due to extra materials needed, but fortunately they were able to run out and get the materials. They worked up until the very last minutes of daylight to ensure that the job was completed on schedule and cleaned all the scraps/waste from our yard and driveway before leaving. We would definitely use Home Genius Exteriors again!"

"3 Son’s Siding & Gutters LLC did my roof about four months ago. They came and gave me a price that was more than fair…3 Son’s were very professional, work very safely. They stripped two layers, found that they had to get plywood and replace the whole roof, it was a bit more but they did the plywood, re-shingled the roof in the one day.i was very impressed with the way all the workers did what needed to be done. The job was done in a day and a half, all the mess was picked up went around the house with magnets picking up all the nails. All I can say I believe they are very professional, very concerned about how my property was left I think it was cleaner than when they started.Very good crew did a great job couldn’t be any happier. Great crew very professional!!!! Thanks for all your hard work.Al Couture Southwick Mass."

"We are extremely happy with A1 Home Improvement. We hired them to install siding on our home. From start to finish, wonderful staff to work with. Joe, our salesperson, spent a lot of time with us and even provided a 3D image of what our house would look like once completed. Tawana and Lisa promptly answered any questions brought to them. The installation team, Jose' and his crew were wonderful and did an excellent job. The guys that installed the gutters also did a great job. Our overall experience was excellent. Our home is just beautiful!"

"With over twenty years experience, this competent, honest, and affordable carpenter modified the door trim project, as needed. The outcome fully matched expectations. See "after" remedy vs "before' condition of door frame and trim. corner rot"

"Outstanding company from the sales person to the project manager to the very competent roofers. The estimate to replace my roof was not the highest or the lowest but was realistic. I was in constant contact with various personnel who kept me informed about the project. On installation day, the crew of 8 roofers began work at 7:30am and finished at 2:30pm. All waste was cleaned up and placed in the dumpster. Overall, a great company to consider when replacing your roof."

"First off, the guys that do the actuall roofing work, do a great job, impressive to watch, and real quality. So why 3 stars? Because Chris, owner and spokesperson for Rising Star, deserves 1 star. Chris is the stereotypical salesperson; tell the customer whatever they want to hear, to get their signature on the dotted line. This is especially important to note, if you're looking to hire Rising Star because of other reviews, and are planning on filing an insurance claim. He'll start by telling you that he'll handle everything, easy as pie. What this really means is, he'll guide you along the way, because the insurance company is only going to want to deal with the policy holder, so actually it's you that will be doing the handling. It's also important to note; because of his, "tell them whatever they want to hear" personality, every time you speak with him, will be like the first time. He won't remember what he said the time before, and will instantly go into telling you whatever he thinks you want to hear today. And what he thinks you always want to hear is, all is good, no matter what roadblock the insurance company has thrown in front of you, it'll all work out in the end. And what he really means by that is, no matter the outcome, in the end, Rising Star will make a profit! Would I recommend them? Depends. If you're filing an insurance claim, and are totally clueless about the process, yes, as long as you go in with your eyes fully open. Looking to hire for a straight roofing job, probably not. I'm sure there are any number of companies out there that also do quality work, will do it for a better price, and won't tell you the sun is shining, when it's actually raining cats and dogs!"

"Artisan Building & Remodeling was an excellent choice for replacing my wind-damaged shingles. Of the various roofing companies that came out to give estimates, Brandon was the only one who insisted I let him speak to my insurance company on my behalf. He was even present when the insurance inspector came out to look at my roof. I feel I would not have succeeded on my own in negotiating anything with my insurance company. The roofing crew was very efficient in their work. Everyone on the team had a job to do, no time was wasted. Brandon was always thorough with his communications, whether it be by phone, email or text. He was always prompt – more prompt than the insurance inspector. I’m very satisfied with and highly recommend Artisan Building & Remodeling!"
