They lock you in with the deposit and so you use it or loose it. The work that was done was okay. To reconnect two 1.5" drain pipes for $450.00 is a lot of crap. I would not hire anyone that would ask for a deposit, for it is the games that they play. Use it and they still charge you more for the job."

"We moved into a lovely house with many unsuspected problems including a very wet basement back in Nov of 2017. I did much research to find the best outfit to fix the problem. Ct Basement was not the cheapest. In fact, they were the most expensive by far. But, they were also the yardstick every other company compared themselves to. The job cost us 19,300. And we had to wait weeks for the work to start. BUT, everything went perfectly. As soon as the old debris was removed, I was shocked to find that the garbage of the old walls and flooring they removed had black mold under it. And, with its removal, my wife’s athsma cleared up and left town! They did a beautiful job, were very polite and the new installed basement, new sump pump with back up battery, perimeter trench, flooring, etc., all is great. They put a lot of work and material in to do this job with very skilled workmen who worked very hard. Sometimes you get what you pay for."

There seemed to be a lot of attention to detail.  All the debris and asphalt were carted away and the job was left clean.  They will be back in the spring when the trenching can be regraded and reseeded.    I waited to do this review until we had one good freeze and one good soaking rain and this was the week it happened. "The work went quickly and professionally.  The crew was careful to
protect our environment and to keep us notified of what they were doing
and when to expect noise, etc.  This was especially important as we have
 three older dogs and we were able to schedule their water theraphy for
the noisiest day. There was an additional problem discovered with
plumbing into the basement.  A pipe from the street to the water meter
had to be replaced by another contractor.  The Basement Guys were unable
to waterproof that spot until after the repair was completed.  They
returned promptly and completed the work, also double checking for any
chips or gaps that had arisen in the foam insulation and fixing them 
and touching up the waterproofing epoxy where the termite company had
drilled holes in the basement wall.  We were extremely pleased with
their service. They are phenomenal!We highly recommend Dry-X Waterprofing.
