From the beginning stages Colin made helpful suggestions to put together a design that we loved. Both Colin and the office manager Monica were responsive to any questions that came up along the way. Friendly crew that worked very hard and did an impeccable clean-up job each day. It looks like a brand new house from the outside and we couldn't be happier! "I contacted Yard Xpression (YX) for a patio in February. I had seen their display at a Kroger last year but couldn't afford the project at the time. I called YX hopimg to get the project done early this year so I started the process in February. I cant say enough about how responsive YX was. I had called multiple companies for quotes and not only did YX get back to me the same day, but they were 1 of only 2 to even call me back.
YX was helpful and patient in the whole process while my wife and I decided on all the specifics of our project, and even helped us in some design elements. They continued their timely responses and made the process very easy, and we're even flexible on some dates so that I could be home to see the completion.
As for the project itself, we couldn't be happier. The patio turned out just great and luckily the weather has been great so we have been able to get a lot of use out of it already. I would happily recommend YX again for a friend or another landscaping project. Great overall experience."

• Removed approximately 100 linear feet of sod in various widths
• Dug down approximately 8" the entire length
• Went to the quarry and hand selected the size and shape of individual, natural brownstones that would be the steps
• Marked the placement of the stones for ease of walking
• Laid each stone to conform to the flow of the path
• Filled the area around the brownstones with natural looking, smooth gravel.

  The end result was a very natural looking path that flowed between the two homes and blends into the existing landscape.  It looks like it has always been there.
We are extremely satisfied. In addition to the quality of the work of this company, another reason we selected them is that the owner is always on the job and he runs background checks on all employees.  He also will not hire someone that is  in our country illegally.
We have since contracted with My Personal Gardener for our landscape maintenance.

"The project went better than I had expected.  
Over the years I've suffered through, itinerant cowboys with chain saws, and tank drivers with bucket loaders doing yard work.  Frankly, I wasn't looking forward to this fix.  Our small 26-year old front yard had begun to look like a British Golf Course.  Sink holes and high spots had developed to the point where the mower couldn't handle it any more.   I had anticipated a complete re-do of the entire front yard...  
WOW - was I surprised by how little needed to be done to actually fix the problem.  Brandon has a keen eye and a surgeon's ability to do only disturb the bad parts and leave the good parts un-touched.  The result, in this case, was only a small portion of the yard was affected with amazing results.
If you're looking for a company that does really good professional work and pays attention to ALL the little details then this is the place to go.

"Outstanding all around! Mike and his crew are very pleasant individuals and were true to their word. They did the work we agreed to on the days that we agreed to -- including working Saturday and Sunday to complete the job -- at the cost agreed to. The results are excellent. We are delighted by the improvement inside the garage, for the carport to the left of the garage, and behind the garage. The concrete pad in the garage now slopes nicely toward the front of the garage, and there's a neat slot for the garage door to close into. On the left side of the garage, what previously was 3 separate concrete slabs all broken up that allowed water to pool in them are now a single seamless slab that drains toward the driveway. The stairs Mike and crew installed are robust and firmly anchored. I will definitely contact them again for future services.

"Job finally got done, did a good job but took forever to hear from them. Came out to put stakes in to mark irrigation spots then didn't show up or call for at least 2 more weeks. Fall is a busy time of year but a phone call would have been nice.
