"I highly recommend TLS. They were very professional & best priced out of 3 quotes I received for new insulation in my attic. They showed up on time and completed the work as described. The owner stopped by to check on the job which rarely ever happens with contractors nowadays. I am extremely happy and satisfied with my choice of TLS and their work. Thank you!"

"ASAP was a great company to work with. They were quick with an estimate and also with availability to do the job. They installed a solar fan, added insulation and placed a radiant barrier in our attic to bring down temperature and humidity. Super nice people! I highly recommend hiring them and look forward to working with them on future projects."

"This company is awesome! Alex blew insulation in places that someone else would’ve ignored. He explained everything to me. I also bought a solar roof fan from this company. Supposed to have a lifetime warranty! My old house has never had insulation, probably bc the only way to get it there was when a new roof was put on. Taking roof off, blowing insulation and installing solar fan, these guys all coordinated to get it done for me and made it look easy. These guys are the best! Oh, and Alex told me their insulation was the best on the market. Very very happy :)"

Small jobs welcome

"Travis is straight-up about his pricing. He gives you a quote before seeing the property to let you know what the ballpark figures are. Then, he researches the property and adjusts according to actual size figures. In my case, the before estimate and after didn't change but, it was good to know it could have and I wouldn't pay for what I didn't get. He's an honest man, a good country boy. I really liked the fact that Travis explained, with strong product knowledge, why he refuses to insulate with cellulose in Florida. I checked out his package and, he uses only name-brand, top-rated fiberglass insulation. He pumped in a ton of it for me and filled my attics to the brim. I believe the final layout was 12". Once Travis was done, my AC blew the coldest air ever, which tells me that the ducts weren't insulated, just as I thought. Well, they are snuggley and cold now. My AC has been running at 1/2 the amount of time prior to the blow in. He cleaned up after the job, too. THAT showed me a pride in service and a strong work ethic. I do wholeheartedly recommend Travis and his crew from Insulate It Solutions. I loved the way he got me involved in the install. "Come and see, before and after". Awesome service. Like-Like. He gave me great advice on further home insulation upgrades. Value Added."

"Go ahead and price out your attic insulation project at the big box stores, and then contact Energy Monster and watch their price come in lower. They can buy in bulk and get reduced prices, which means your price quote will be lower than doing it yourself. Also, their high volume machine blows the insulation in faster than a hurricane! I hired them to insulate over the garage and total time was approx 25 minutes. Courteous professional installers. Wonderful customer service in their office. And I never had to break a sweat! Energy Monster is top-notch!"

"Good quick service. Too early to see results only installed 1 week. So far only notice a 1-2 degree change inside during hot hot days. Overall i did need to upgrade my attic insulation so i am ok with doing so at a reasonable price."

FAQs for batt, rolled or reflective insulation install or upgrade projects in New Port Richey, FL

Batt insulation excels in vertical installations because it remains firmly in place and delivers consistent thermal performance. Blown-in insulation performs exceptionally in spaces such as attics, efficiently filling gaps in irregular areas.

Employing both insulation types according to their strengths enhances your home’s overall energy efficiency and comfort by providing a tailored solution for every space.

Start by measuring the square footage of the space, then match that area with the insulation thickness you need to hit your target R-value. Add a buffer for waste and odd-shaped spots so every cavity is covered.

Once you have a rough count, run it past a local insulation pro—their on-site advice will fine-tune the numbers and help you avoid costly miscalculations.

Old insulation that is dry, intact, and mold-free does not require removal before adding new insulation; stacking new insulation over it maintains effective thermal performance and boosts energy efficiency.

If the insulation is damp, moldy, or deteriorated, removal is necessary to eliminate health risks and ensure maximum effectiveness of the new layer. A professional insulation contractor will assess your situation and recommend the most effective solution.

Installing insulation in an average-sized home using batts or boards requires five to 12 hours. Using spray foam or blown-in insulation requires two to five hours. These timeframes are determined by the area’s size, accessibility, and whether old insulation must be removed.

Complex projects and hard-to-reach spaces demand extra time. Hiring an experienced insulation professional ensures that the installation is completed efficiently and correctly.

Insulation is measured by R-value, which defines how effectively it resists heat flow. A higher R-value provides superior thermal resistance, ensuring your home remains warm in winter and cool in summer.

Choosing the correct R-value is essential for maximizing energy efficiency and comfort, and it directly impacts long-term utility savings. Professional guidance determines the optimal R-value for your specific climate.
