"I will call this “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly review” as I am breaking this review into the 3 teams that we had – 2 very good and done quickly and 1 inferior with the most time spent at our house – thus the overall 3 star grade. The Good • Roofing Team – Grade: A. Efficient, good job, found virtually no nails or roofing materials on the ground • Gutters – Grade: A. One man crew but he knew what he was doing and provided good suggestions for modifying our water flow. The Bad • Siding & Window Team – Grade: C to D. Not sure how they were trained but they didn’t seem to understand some common construction basics. A few of the many examples – o They nailed the siding on wrong and had to start over. o They almost ripped the 120V electrical outlet off the house without turning off the breaker but it was the weekend and we happened to be in the garden and saw them. o Installed the dryer vent wrong twice – once painting it shut and the next time putting on a vent with a label on it saying “not for use with clothes dryers” due to the pre-installed screen. The Ugly • Siding & Window Team – Used caulk as touch up paint on LP Smartside (or just used the siding to clean off their dirty fingers?) – leaving random “chicken pox marks” all over new siding. Garage, driveway and all 4 sides of our house were filled with equipment and garbage for the length of the project. Not the crew to have if you have children or pets – they left old saw blades and other sharp objects around the garage entrance and the house. I didn’t expect a spotless home every night but I didn’t expect to be living with this much disarray with minimal clean up each night, even after asking the supervisor to improve pickup of at least garbage and sharp objects in the garage and the common walking paths. Nor did we expect to be spending our fall cleaning caulk off the “maintenance free” siding and re-painting it and installing our outside boxes correctly. I will give the owner credit for realizing that his siding and window crew did inferior work and giving us a discount on our bill. None-the-less, I am rating the services provided based on the quality of the work done."

"I am giving my rep, Raul, a 5 star rating. I am about to take the plunge and have my house re-sided for the first time ever! My home is 116 yrs old and has only been painted several times over the original wood. However, paint no longer will fix what is happening underneath, with dry rot, aging, etc., so my only option is to have it re-sided & almost start from scratch. I met with Raul, who is "awesome", to say the least. He is knowledgeable, explains everything to a "T" and is so down-to-earth. My old "farm" house is 2 stories, plus a walk-up attic, so this would have cost me a fortune as there is a lot of "territory" to be covered. It still is going to cost me a fortune, but Raul covered every crook & cranny to cut my costs immensely to make it affordable. I am so grateful for his assistance. "Troy proactively found that there had been water damage to our exterior siding that likely penetrated the siding layer to insulation. Troy prepared a very fair bid and completed the project on tine and under budget. The repair job was excellent and I would recommend Troy's work to anyone who needs original or repair work on their siding. He's highly personable and wonderful to work with."

company. The furnace installer brought in this company to do the full removal
of our old furnace and the asbestos.
The price in removal was included in with our install, so I
do not have an exact cost. Plus I don't think that really matters when you are
talking about your health and family?s health. The two men that came in to do
the job were friendly, quick and careful. They laid down fabric to protect our
floors and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. I would highly
recommend them to another homeowner.

"Adrian and his crew did an excellent job from start to finish.  Within a week of signing the contract, they were at my house and working.  They discovered that the original siding did not have plywood or wrap behind it.  Adrian called me immediately, explained the situation that I had to have the wood and wrap behind the siding.  He gave me a very fair price on the additional work and material.  They got the material and started work the next day.   The staff is nice and courteous.  The house looks great! I plan on having them come out either in the fall or next spring to do additional work.  "

"We got a bid for two coats of very high quality paint and prep work. Everything was to be completed in about four days but we went through a two week period of rainy days so it did take longer. The good was that we had some bare wood that the crew would not paint until dry even though it was not convenient to them. We got a very competitive bid with a higher quality of paint and very good carpentry/repair work and we got everything bid. I would highly recommend Leon's Painting & Remodeling."
