"After receiving several estimates to have our floors done throughout our entire home, John from Carpet One was the most professional, respectful and knowledgeable person we met with. There are some interesting â floor guysâ out thereâ ¦thatâ s me putting it nicely. He delivered the estimate to us in the same day- which was amazing considering he came to us late in the day (as requested). He even used an ipad to map and measure the square footage precisely. He left floor samples with us so we could see the floor in different light throughout the day. I was able to easily retrieve additional samples from the show room to which helped us make our final decision. John was patient with us throughout the entire process - we were planning to apply the same floor throughout our entire house .. and as a first time home owners we did not want to rush! The team that installed the flooring worked hard, fast and cleaned up after themselves. They were meticulous.. we had several closets floored and tough angles. The floors were installed about three months ago- the quality is outstanding! Luxury is an understatement. As We continued working on our new home, the floors have been able to withstand spills, drops and moving furniture with no damage. When we had a very minor concern he came by the same day to look at it for usâ ¦ and of course without being asked took his shoes off at the door! We have received so many compliments. "I contacted Handy Dominick based on the terrific reviews he received on Angie's List. From my experience I can confirm those reviews are well-deserved. Dominick was a pleasure to work with. The quality of the work was excellent and so was the timing. I was under a tight deadline to get my apartment into shape and Dominick fit me into his schedule and then got everything done on time as promised . This was especially noteworthy because in several cases the work was more involved than expected (for example, it turned out that the previous kitchen floor had not been installed properly) and also I added a few items to the project as it went along. Besides the "big stuff" - painting and replacing the kitchen floor - Dominick addressed my accumulated wish list of minor repairs and enhancements. For example, he fixed closet doors that weren't closing properly, replaced a defective bathtub spout, replaced a rusty shower rod, installed a new shower head, Dominick is a problem-solver. He had great suggestions, for example he came up with an attractive way to insulate a heating pipe and upgraded my lighting by finding LED fixtures ("cans") that worked with my old track light track. Additionally, I appreciated Dominick's familiarity with working in co-ops. He was great on providing all the required paperwork - license, insurance certificate, indemnity agreement. And he fully complied with all the co-op's rules regarding work hours, removal of debris, etc. As in any project, there was a punch list at the end (in this case really just a few odds and ends), and Dominick was very gracious and attentive in resolving those items. I came away feeling very happy with the work itself and also very happy with the experience of meeting and working with Dominick and his wife Maria (who handles some of the scheduling and paperwork). I know I am repeating myself but Dominick was a pleasure to work with. With his positive attitude and creativity, he took situations that seemed hard and complicated and made them look easy."

"A good friend of mine referred Jose (business owner) as my friend recently got a new vinyl floor installed by Jose and his team. So we contracted Jose to remove carpets and installed new flooring in our family room and attic. The jobs were done on time with perfection. Rather than calling it floor installation, the work quality is basically fine craftsmanship: the precision of the installation, details of floorboard transition with and the trims, and perfectly painted stairs. I am super happy with the quality and also impressed by how professional his team was. After installation, they left the site very clean. During this whole process, we had unexpected delay on materials from HomeDepot. Jose was able to thoughtfully shift his schedule to accommodate our change fo schedule, and for the job done within 2 days. Highly recommend this company and if I have future need for floor renovation, I will definitely hire them again."
