When Fall rolled around and furnaces were turned on, one customer had water dripping in her attic and down into her home. They came back several times. Couldn't find anything wrong. On third trip, the employees didn't bother looking in the attic; they simply cut holes in her ceiling and found what they said was a disconnected vent to her furnace. They told her she was lucky they found the problem, because the next step was going to be having to go up on her new roof and cut into it. Unfortunately, after they left, water continued to leak into her home. She could not allow the water to continue to damage her ceiling, so she had someone else look in the attic...and they discovered the furnace exhaust had been disconnected in more than one location, and the water heater vent had been disconnected as well. SCHWICKERT HAD THE NERVE TO SEND THIS PERSON A BILL FOR OVER $400 DOLLARS "INVESTIGATE THE CONDENSATION ISSUE" (TO CUT THE HOLES IN HER CEILING), EVEN THOUGH THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY THEIR SHINGLING INSTALLATION CREW AND NOT CORRECTED. Their customer service for the issues WE HAD after installation was extremely POOR."
