The sales rep arrived on time and gave us an estimate in about 30 minutes. The day we scheduled our replacement, rain was in the forecast and the receptionist contacted us about moving our appointment to an earlier date to get the job done. I really appreciated that! Replacement was performed in a timely manner with a full crew. I will definitely reach out to them again for future services."

"Ralph Bertrand from Home Genius Exteriors came out to thoroughly examine our roof. Ralph showed us many photos & a video of our roof, outside & inside. Ralph took the time to answer any questions we had. He explained the various products used & levels of warranty available. We really appreciated the time Ralph spent explaining everything to us, all without pressure to buy. The day of install arrived & the team was on time & ready to work! One thing we liked was that there was someone there from Home Genius Exteriors during the whole time of install. Richard Bowan, the Install Manager, was there to oversee everything & he did an amazing job. They placed large tarps over all our landscaping & got right to work. Rich kept us updated on progress throughout the day & answered any questions we had. In addition to the new roof, we also had new gutters with leaf guards & downspouts installed. When the work was completed, we walked around the house with Rich. Everything was completely cleaned up; there was nothing left behind or out of place. Our home looks amazing. The new roof, gutters & downspouts really look beautiful. We loved our experience with Home Genius Exteriors, especially working with both Ralph & Rich. They were so professional & knowledgeable. "I met Rick and Linda Jenkins at one of the home expo shows that take place in the area throughout the year.  There was something about the way they interacted with me that caught my attention. I felt very comfortable in their presence, not pressured and certainly not 'handed a line'.  After reviewing the information on their website, I knew that I wanted this company to give me a bid on the work that needed to be done on the gable vents of my house.
I called and made an appointment. They arrived promptly at the schedule time, asked for permission to return to do a more thorough investigation of the scope of work, and kept me informed of the process every step of the way. Rick clearly explained the choices I had: wood, vinyl, or PVC as replacement materials. He explained the pros and cons of each so that I had the information needed to make the most appropriate decision.
Linda provided the quotes for the two options I was interested in (wood and PVC). She was available to answer every question clearly. I was able to make a decision with no pressure to move into a higher priced option.
The work was scheduled and completed within the specified time frame.  If I hadn't been here on the day the work was done, I would never have known that work had taken place on my house or in my yard--other than seeing new, freshly painted gables. All construction material was cleaned up, no damage was done to either the house or the landscaping. There wasn't even a stray drop of paint that escaped the brush!
I am very happy that I chose RLC Contracting Company to make this repair on my house. I found the Jenkins' to be professional, open, and very easy to deal with. They communicate clearly and in a timely manner. They live the values outlined on their website: honesty, clear communication, valuing relationships, doing high quality work. "I have mixed feelings about this job. The company was extremely patient with the scheduling changes I needed to make because of health issues. However, mode of communication was an issue. Kept calling a cellphone, not in regular use, instead of the landline or the preferred e-mail. Installation was timely, as we had the ice storm soon after, it was also a one-man job and I was amazed at the job he did. He was very professional always measuring twice and sometimes more than that before cutting anything, as despite all the measurements done, the inside core of the door frame needed to be trimmed for the unit to fit. Not sure if that is why once it warmed up, first one-side and now the other side, is not a tight as when originally installed. The also is now an issue with the interior frame, the mitered seam at the top of the door has separated. Another issue was this door was supposed to share a key with the front door as both were Schlage locks and can be rekeyed. A copy of the key was provided prior to the job. This did not happen, nor did the copy come back the day of the install, had to wait for it to be mailed to me. The company tried to rectify both problems, the loosening and they key issue, but not happy with their solutions, as one requires me to complete the job, the other is aesthetic... lack of symmetry, no longer smooth frames on both sides . I like the product's overall appearance, and would repeat the business to ensure uniformity, but given the price, I did expected better. Also would not advise using Mosaic, their finance group. I have issues with a company that mails their statement 4-days after the payment is due, even if 12-months same as cash."

"I had the roofs replaced and skylights on my 5 bedroom ranch house with attached garage and re-roof a detached gambrel roofed barn. Bevins also installed aluminum trim, vinyl soffit around the house and replaced all the gutters. All the jobs couldn't have gone better! All the crews were extremely polite and professional; their work exceeded my expectations. I would hire them again and highly recommend Bevins to others."
