"Returned initial inquiry call promptly and agreed to meet with me in the evening since I work. Walked the property with me explaining to him what I needed/wanted done. Walter pointed out several large dead limbs on the perimeter of my yard that could stand to be removed. (I hadn't even looked for things like that. I just knew I wanted these messy & dying evergreens removed ASAP.) Walter initially quoted separately for the 2 large evergreens when I showed more work to be done he held back on prices till I was as all done with everything including some work on my adjoining property. His quote almost knocked me down. I've had 18 trees removed from these properties in the 30+ years so I was expecting a substantial price quote, never in my wildest dreams did I expect his quote to be so reasonable. Gave him a deposit check & set a date. Walter & his 2 men arrived as planned & started to unload all their tools & sheets of plywood to protected my sad parched front lawn, the 2 large tall evergreens were at the back of the property. Unfortunately for them this September Saturday was sunny, humid & in the low 90's. They worked about 4 hours & broke for maybe 20 minutes to have lunch but not before every downed branch or limb was chipped. They were here just under 7 hours I believe. Walter asked me to walk the 2 properties to double check that he had that taken care of all that I wanted done. This is the FIRST time I did not have to ask that the stumps be cut lower. The stumps were practically flush to the ground. Previously other contractors would tell me " that's as low as we can get" . I'm talked about 12-15"TALL. I'm so grateful these stumps are low, I'm by myself now & it takes longer to do things, going to coat the stumps with Brush killer today & in 2 weeks proceed with some sort of stump decaying process, hopefully by spring I remove them myself. BUT until then the 5 stumps in my very front side yard will not be noticable! Walter & his crew really seemed to know their business, they knew exactly which limbs to remove to let in more sunlight in too shady areas. I look forward to working with Walter & his crew again, hopefully this fall. I have about 60 trees on my personal home property, almoat all surrounding my backyard . A good portion need a lot of trimming."

"From start to finish Sean was warm and pleasant. I was never made to feel rushed or like I was just a stop on his list. He and his staff were neat and careful. He moved my items efficiently and without any damages. Might I add - They were also punctual with their arrival and time was not wasted. Sean and his staff did their job well! "Reasonably well, once the boss arrived. They charge by the truckload, at $600 per truckload and send a crew of three guys. When they started, they were not packing the truck tightly at all and my wife mentioned this to them. The initial crew was college kids working for the summer, and they told her that there was no reason for them to pack it any tighter! When my wife poitned out the obvious, that it was costing us more and that she wanted them to re-pack, the crew leader suggested calling the boss, and my wife readily agreed. When he arrived he was courteous and professional and made a deal with us to charge for no more than two and one-half truckloads. This seemed reasonable to us. They guys were then very helpful and courteous as they worked to throw out our old refrigerator/ freezer, which took some doing. They arranged for the recycle guy to come and pick up the metal appliances.
They also came back the following morning as promised to pick up remaining items. The crew leader told us that if they forgot anything, to call them and it would be part of the job. When I discovered that they (and me) forgot about items on the outside side of their house, I called and left one message asking them to return, but they did not. I did not call them again, as we were caught up in more moving details. I felt that they did a reasonable job, but I wish they would have done so from the start without prompting -- I had several harried, excited phone calls from my wife while I was driving to our NJ home.
The boss/ owner is good -- I recommend dealing directly with him if possible, and otherwise escalating to him if issues arise.
They did make themselves available on one day's notice, when we needed them -- our initial plans for clean-out fell through, and they had the crew at our place the next day. This is appreciated.

"I contracted with Paragon Remodeling Group/Safe Trust roofing for the installation of three security/storm doors, replacement of a gable vent and a minor masonry repair. The job was off to a slow start with multiple concerns involving the installation of the doors (life is never perfect and things don't always go as planned). Tom Hemmerle, the owner of this company, was contacted. He came to our home, inspected the job, assessed the situation and offered definitive solutions. He took this small job as seriously as if it were a large construction project and made it clear to us he would have the it completed in a quality fashion and to our satisfaction, and he did so in a cordial and professional manner. The issues at the onset were more than resolved and our expectations were completely met. "Excellent! This was my second time using MTL Contracting and once again I am 100% beyond pleased with the services rendered. Matt did an amazing job pressure washing my house and gutters. He also installed gutter guards which look amazing. He was able to color match the roof shingles with the guards. My dryer was not working properly so Matt suggested to clean the duct work and what we found was amazing, it's amazing the house didn't catch fire prior to the cleaning. The dryer works perfectly now, like it's brand new! I will definitely be calling MTL Contracting again for more work around my home this Spring!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Scott fence! First, he arrived for an estimate as promised. He did get lost and I missed his call but he called several times until he got me & arrived promptly as soon as i explained where i was. He made recommendations based on the area we wanted to fence that were extremely helpful and showed his level of experience. The price he gave is was fantastic, considering he works with true PVC vinyl fencing (he beat out another fence company by atleast $500). We met with Scott Fence 2 more times after the initial consultation: the 2nd time, he was kind enough to give us time to speak to our neighbors about the upcoming installation, and even helped mediate minor debates about property line & fence placement. He was EXTREMELY helpful with this, which i had to mention because no fence company is responsible for making your neighbors feel ok with fence installation, but Scott Fence took this challenge without hesitation. The third time we met was to finalize the contract. He was able to install the fence 3 days later! His crew arrived as promised that Saturday morning, and worked throughout the day to finish the job. There was a tiny miscommunication: one neighbor already had 4ft pvc fencing and while we wanted to go with 5 ft, we told Scott Fence we wanted to match the neighbors' fence in height, but it was misunderstood as height and style (we installed plain solid & the neighbor has lattice topped fence). Initially I was going to give the go ahead to install but i later told Scott Fence that i wasnt crazy about the lattice fence and he said no worries, that he would order the correct fencing free of charge and install what i wanted. He is truly all about making his customers happy. There was even a small section of unfenced area in out back yard that was previously blocked with cinderblocks that he fenced for free! I also want to mention, he had no idea i found him on Angies list, not until the 2nd visit. I intentionally did not mention it because i like to see the true colors of service providers when they are not focused on getting a good review. There is more that we plan to fence in the future and we will not hesitate to contact Scott Fence. Glenn, the main contact, is wonderful. Cheerful, informative and definitely about his business. "I had a great experience with Infinity Fence. We needed to replace a mix of chain link and wood fence that were both rusty and/or falling apart. I got 3 different quotes and Infinity was very personable about the whole process and they matched the like-for-like quote from one of the vendors. This made my decision on who to go with very easy. Their team was able to remove the old fence and install about 200 feet of new fence in 2.5 days. The crew on-site was very good, my property threw a couple of challenges at them but they did an excellent job to not only overcome them but have the fence come out looking beautiful.
