"Lermon did excellent work. They worked very hard and diligently to dig down to the basement floor level on the outside, then repointed, applied appropriate mortar and water sealing layers. They then installed a french drain to divert the water from the hill behind the house to pass the house and flow into the front yard. They then repointed the inside walls and added a layer of paint that will also help lower the humidity. Communication was very good. This is the 2nd time I hired them and I would strongly recommend them."

For the walkway, Sam even made an asphalt patch to the city sidewalk where the two met. Sam and his team were on time, worked neatly, cleaned up after the work was done. "Mr. Feliciano did a great job and is a true craftsman. He was the first to respond and gave us a fair estimate and said he could fit us in the next week, much sooner than we had hoped. It is a 20 ft. walkway. Carlos had some great ideas and details that we added to what I had drawn up. Carlos and another fellow were punctual arriving at 7am and were completely done in the afternoon. We've received many nice comments from neighbors and friends on our new walk and I would hire him again for any masonry needs. I strongly recommend C F Masonry."

"Considering the scope and cost of this project, I spoke to four different masons to get their opinions and bids. In the end, John Screen stood out the best fit for the job, by far. He and his team were extremely experienced, professional, and punctual -- and they did an incredible job. They identified each of the headers and sills that needed replacing and carefully removed them, and poured and installed brand-new ones. They then tackled the front portico, which was a big concern for me -- the portico has some beautiful detail work, but one corner of it had completely fallen away. Frankly, I didn't think anyone could repair it in a way that wouldn't *look* like a repair. Yet, John rebuilt the missing corner, carving the matching detail by hand, and it looks as good as new with no signs of its past damage. Finally, the team painted all of the headers and sills (both new and old), the portico, and the decorative concrete "chair rail" that runs across the building with a special paint to protect the concrete and give the building a very cohesive look. They also took the time to repaint the wooden overhang at the very top of the building. What's more, even though this was not in their scope of work, they made some small repairs to brickwork on the back of the building where we had some contractors building a new porch, and spent a few days shoring-up some structural issues they noticed in the back, as well. The whole time, John was always in communication about what was going on and how the job was proceeding. If I had any questions, he was always a call or text away. In the end, the job looks fantastic and they stayed right within budget and right on schedule. With any luck, we won't need much masonry work for a while, but if we do, I will absolutely be calling John."
