"Joe is hard working, diligent, and honest. I hired him 1) to put up an antenna for local tv service and 2) to fix poor wifi signals. TV was converted from cable rapidly using leftover wires. Saving $ not paying for cable and streaming off wifi. Great signal strength! WiFi was harder. He worked with ATT to determine my new iMac was sucking signals. He installed a more powerful router that solved wifi issues when iMac is off. Now I have to work with Apple to figure out how to manage the computer searching. I would not hesitate to call Joe back again. He is an excellent technician and a fine person. He is pretty busy, so sometimes it takes a few days before he can come out, but he is worth the wait."

"The overall experience was good. Even though our roof is quirky and we have parts that are shaded, they were able to angle panels in different areas to get the maximum sun exposure. There was one glitch...the system wasn't working when we first turned it on upon approval from the electric company but once I contacted them they were quick to come out. The problem was a switch that hadn't pushed on properly and was an easy fix. We felt like they worked very hard to get the system in for us quickly and were polite and professional throughout the experience."

"Landmark construction and energy crew executed a whole kitchen renovation for us, including custom cabinets, new floors, new countertops, electrical (sub panel with lights and switches), recessed lighting covering, plumbing fixtures, took down wall to expand the kitchen area by merging it to the living room space. The cost included all the materials for cabinets and countertops, backsplash tiles, new floors and the appliances. We are thrilled with our new kitchen! Charlie, Nir and the workers did an excellent work and while the whole job was completed in less than a month. You could see how hard they worked in order to keep the work moving so it will be done in that time period that they originally promised us. On top of that, they worked hard to get things to our requirements (i.e. to stain the cabinets, complete the paint etc…). We all were pleasant and satisfied to have them work at our house and mainly with Charlie (project manager) that was approachable and supportive when we had requests or problems. I must mention that on few times, we were bothered with some of the workers when they didn’t show up when they should, or worked more hours on the electricity panel. Clearly enough, it’s normal that you must have to handle a lot of problems when you decide on going for this type of project. The final cost was the same as we agreed with them at first, although we were sure that it will be increased due to some additional things that we did during the work and that were not included in the first estimate/agreement. "I've reviewed Rick before -- the more we use his service the more we appreciate him!  This time we had a mystery  -- flickering lights, power drops to things like the microwave and other appliances, but breakers (and everything we could test ourselves) looked fine.  We had several contractor friends try to figure out what was wrong, but couldn't pin it down.  One suggestion was it might be a power  problem with  PG&E, but our friend said to get a specialist to scope out the system before we called them.  That meant Rick.
I called him, and he got back to me in the morning.  He sandwiched us in among several emergency calls and arrived exactly when he said he would -- with my tight schedule, that's appreciated.  I met him in front of the house and told him what was happening.  Before we even went inside, he looked up at the weatherhead and said he could see at least one problem -- looked like we might have a burned wire up there.  He went to get his ladder and check.
Moments later, he came down and said we had a badly-deteriorated ground wire that he was going to replace immediately, and that he would come back and replace the other wires as well, since they had probably been there since the house was built in the 50s.  We made sure the computers were shut down and he went up on the roof again.
About an hour later the microwave (which was our most visible symptom) was operating without power drops.  He could have counted the problem solved -- a lot of guys would.  But this morning, he called me and said he still wanted to replace the other wires, and tape them with weather-resistant material, just to make sure.
Between our home and another property of ours, we've used Rick's services eight times now -- for the heating system (as reviewed before), to add security lights, electrify a couple of outbuildings, put in some vent fans, repair some bad wiring, and now this lovely bit of detective work.  Just one more reason Mr. Alves is our go-to guy.

"Joshua is really thorough and professional.  He stuck to his start time and gave approximate end times that he delivered.  His quote was accurate.   He sent pictures, kept receipts and delivered what he said he would do.
We had two changes that needed to happen that required some added labor and materials, but Joshua was cool about it.  He even came on a saturday to do a final walk through.  Which I thought was very cool.  
The pergola went up quickly and was what I drew.  
The changes inside the house he did very clean and neat.  He had to cut back an archway and then replace some tile.
I have no hesitation recommending him or using him in the future.
