"JD Hostetter is a great company! Tom the owner will come out personally to give an estimate and he is honest and trustworthy. We had our roof replaced, our homes exterior painted, some siding replaced as well as two exterior dormer windows replaced. My daughter has used this company as well for new gutters as well as exterior painting. The workers are always friendly , professional and experienced. They answer all questions that you may have and leave the job site spotless after the job is completed. The office staff is always helpful and friendly as well and promptly return calls. I highly recommend JD Hostetter. They are reasonable on their job quotes too. You will not be disappointed if you use this company!"

"It went very well. Rob explained all of the procedures and everything went as planned. He helped all along the way with filing an insurance claim so that I just had to meet my deductible. Rob helped me pick the color and type of shingle. I am very pleased with the results. There was no damage to my landscape or property during the process. Rob was very particular about picking up any leftover debris or nails upon completion. The roof looks great!"

"I contacted Russell Hill Contracting, LLC, for minor roof repair (replacing/reattaching 6-8 shingles) after recent storms. We were eager to get the shingles replaced/reattached because more rain and storms were forecasted for later in the day and over the next few days. Mr. Baker came to our house late afternoon of the same day I contacted the company. Earlier that morning, I spoke with someone from another company that was going to charge $375 for an appointment within 24 hours as an 'emergency service call'. The emergency service call would include an inspection of the damage and an estimate for work that would be performed in ~ 10 days. A tarp could be placed as temporary remediation to prevent damage with the forecasted rain, and the cost would be included when the work was subsequentally performed."

"Came out to do the work 2 days after I chose them to do the work. Chad arrived right on time, quickly assessed the damage, and discussed the solution. Part of my railing needed to be replaced as well as a completely rotted out support post. The work was complete in 5 hours and looks like it has always been there. "Started in late March after roof valley damage from 40-50 mph storm winds. Contractor chose shingle rated for 130 mph wind resistance and high level -( Class 3 [4 is tops ] )- HAIL resistance. Complete roof replacement done in two days. (Finished in less than one week from first phone call.) Crew chief answered on-site questions about dealing with recent wind damaged areas and aged areas on 15-20+ year old roof — replacement of 25+ sheets of sheathing. — details, e.g., self- adherent Ice & Water barrier along edges and covering low slope section. I saw no shortcuts. Five person crew: fast & efficient.The results met high professional standards. Clean-up was during workday. Drop cloths deployed and 99% of plastic trash was cleared away on all sides of house. Magnetic Nail clean-up was thorough; loaded debris trailer shed 10 nails in the driveway. Noise-nail guns and compressor- was tolerable. Crew members always courteous. Asked permission to leave trailer parked overnight"

"Shane met with me right away and gave me an estimate the day he inspected the roof. He also sent me a proposal per e-mail. My husband and I were impressed with his responsiveness and felt that it was a very fair estimate. We based our decision on the price and how quickly the company we hired could get to the job, but it was also important to us that we were dealing with a family business that had a history of good encounters and problem solving when things go wrong. Also we wanted to be sure that shingles were hand nailed (instead of a gun). It went really well. It took 2 days due to the decking underneath the present roof no longer was good, and all of it had to be replaced. I wasn't surprised that the decking needed replaced due to having some leakage around the chimney when we had a hard rain. Shane's employees are hard workers....I think that they only stopped to eat lunch and then they were back to work. The first day they worked until sundown. It was a beautiful job and we were extremely happy with the finished product. You can't go wrong using Roof Master."
