"Chris and his team did a great job and were also very pleasant to have in our home and on our property. The retaining wall and tree removal turned into a bigger job than anticipated but they did it beautifully. I highly recommend Chris and Dreamscape."

Small jobs welcome

"Ramos Brothers stepped up and did a job that the previous person I hired never showed up to do. Within a few weeks of getting a quote the job was done in two days. They were on time each day and worked in extreme heat until the job was done. Can t recommend them enough. A+ job!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Heberto is the most professional, communicative, and skilled mason in the middle TN area. He has done 3 projects for us: 2 retaining walls and flagstone pathway, and we couldn't be happier. His crew is always on time, efficient, and they really take pride in their work. And 5 years after the first retaining wall (complete with drainage system), his work stands the test of time. I really can't say enough good things about Heberto - he makes the whole process feel effortless."

"Anthony and his crew were hard working and pleasant to work with. They processed a very large and spreading ash tree in less than 4 hours. No trashy music, no cigarette butts. Clean, quick, professional and a reasonable price."

"I asked Daniel to remove some stone around my fireplace to allow room for built in cabinets to be installed. He was very creative to eliminate the dust in my home. "The first visit to provide an estimate was very helpful. All my questions were answered - and some I hadn't even thought of. Since the price was reasonable, I hired Brentwood Landscaping that day. The actual installation was delayed a couple of weeks because of rain, which made the ground too wet for trenching neatly. They kept me informed by email so that I would know when they would begin. When they were able to start, the work only required one day with a follow-up visit the next day. The system works great."

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Nolensville, TN

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
