"I think the finishing around the window could've been a little bit nicer. Our basement isn't really finished. It still the brick wall, cement wall.It just seems like it could've been finished off more than it was. They were quick. I didn't see a lot of debris or anything. I know sawing through cement can be messy but they seemed to be very clean and efficient. They were out here pretty quick. We checked around and they were very reasonable."

"Paul did a great job.  Our previous contractor didn't do a very good job on the rough openings for the doors so it took longer than Paul thought to install the doors, but he didn't charge us extra.  Every door looks really good.  The wall he finished for us looks a lot better than the other walls.  We should have called him first.  He will be getting a call from us on any more work we need for sure."

"This was the second project that Genadek was hired for.  The reason Genadek was rehired to do work that no other contractor seemed to want to take on was because the company delivers what it says it will.  The first project was an extensive drain tile system with permeable pavers and a french drain, which has provided a beautiful place to entertain as well as much needed management of a high water table.  And when Genadek encountered issues with the high water table, they researched and came up with a plan - a plan that became the solution we had been searching for going on 6 years.
On both projects, Genadek was upfront about changing conditions of the project and gave us the information necessary to make a decision.  At no point was there a feeling that Genadek was doing anything other than respecting us and the financial constraints of the projects.  It is impossible to expect a bid to always be perfect down to the last penny, however Genadek makes a concerted effort to do just that and when they cannot - you will know why.
When Genadek finishes a project, they clean up the worksite and leave it as they found it so there is no delay in your enjoyment.  There is not doubt that this is a company that is choosing to do business the right way - respecting clients - and should be supported for it."

"The estimator was very knowledgeable and explained his products and services very well.  He provided a detailed plan and estimate.
The installation was done all in one day - including removal of the old counter top and the installation of the new counter top - and it was done on the pre-scheduled day.  Sears was excellent at accommodating our scheduling restrictions.  The new counter top looks nice and we are very happy with the result.
There were a few glitches - the garbage disposal leaked and needed service, and it was tough to get an updated estimate when we made a mid-stream change - but we were still very happy with the result.
Note that the Sears office that we dealt with is in Sharon Hill PA, not in Windsor Mill MA as listed by Angie's List, and the corporate headquarters is in Longwood FL.

Steve Did an excellent job as the manager of the project in explaining the details of the owrk, and how long it would take.
They understood that I was selling the house, and need it complete within a week for the open house and they did not fail the project.  They performed extra work on the roof line, fixed door trim incorrectly installed by someone else.   They went above and beyond.  The area cleaned up well,  Steve is available all the time, whether I called him morning or night and always ansered "not a problem" no matter what I had to ask, or have them do.  Everyone on the project was professional, they work long hours to get the project done.

I had bid from other companies, but Steve and his assurances stood out.  Would not hesitate to hire them again."

"This was the second time I worked with Greg. It had gone so well the first time that I called him when I wanted a 14 x 20 building put on the back of my lot. He impressed me again with his creative solutions to some of the problems I was having, both with build and placement. He stayed in my budget and got it done in a reasonable amount of time. "Cj Craftsman  (Chris Burrington) drew up the original plans for the house and the SIP (Structural Insulated Panels) were ordered off of those drawings. Chris then built the frame of the house with these highly insulated wall pieces, making sure these walls had the correct runs to allow for electricity wiring and plumbing. Chris also installed all of the six super energy efficient windows, built the loft inside, installed the wood flooring and the wood wall paneling. Chris worked extremely well with the other contractors who had to work in tandem with him to make sure everything was right to install the solar hot water, solar air heat, solar electricity and the passive solar. This was all done in three weeks and everything was finished by the start of the fair. This was a major effort, with many, many very long days put in by Chris to make sure it was done on time.
