"On the eve of our defunctionalization of a septic system to hook up to the town sewer, we had a sudden and unexpected backup in the shower and through the toilet seal. Our plumbers recommended Ryan, who was prompt, thorough, tidy, affable, competent, and available in a flash two days later when a subsidiary problem required a return visit. While I would not wish septic system problems on anyone, but if it is you, call Ryan: you will be glad you did."

"The Jedson team came out and gave us a quote very quickly. Once we decided to move forward, the work started right away and they worked very quickly. We received updates throughout the week via text message pictures and phone calls with updates. After the initial project was completed, the team stayed an extra day to assist with some cracked pipe issues we had as well."

"Our ancient sewer pipe (made of the crumble-prone "orangeburg" pipe) was clogged. Two years ago, Bay State came, drained our cesspool, and jetted this same pipe. In two years, evidently, the crumbles had accumulated enough to block the pipe again, causing sewage from our upstairs bathroom to back up into our kitchen sink. <br /> I called Bay State after their closing time on Wednesday. Amazingly, they both answered and also promised to come by, some time on Thursday.  At 1pm Thursday, I called to make sure they were coming. The very helpful receptionist assured me that they were, and told me that they were working on a school emergency, and guaranteed that we were "on their ticket" for today. <br /> I called again at 5:15 and was told the same, with some more details about where they were, and that they were evidently out of cell range. She offered to call me before she left duty at 6pm. She did, telling me that she had heard from the crew, who needed to stop at the office and would then arrive later. <br /> At 7pm, I got a call from the driver, saying he would be at our house by about 8pm. He was! <br /> Please note that, although there were many delays, everyone was pleasant - and Peter came to start the job at 8pm, after a long day of work! I don't blame them for the delays, as inconvenient as they were for me. Instead, I praise them for staying in touch and keeping their promise to come! <br /> Peter arrived, pleasant and calm. The weather was very cold, so after a few minutes he realized that he had to warm up a frozen hose before he could proceed. After thawing the  hose, he had some trouble finding the correct sewer outlet into our cesspool (there are two), but Peter showed the mind of a great diagnostician: when one thing didn't work, he learned from that and tried another. <br /> Three hours later, he solved the ?where is the pipe outlet? problem by removing the toiled from the 2nd story bathroom and sending a snake all the way down into the cesspool (60 or more feet away). The snake pushed a large obstruction into the cesspool, revealing that the sewer pipe had crumbled where it enters the cesspool, making it hard to recognize. <br /> Once he identified the correct pipe outlet, he was very thorough in testing that everything was in working order. He then replaced the upstairs toilet and cleaned up after himself. <br /> Altogether, this was a second impressive experience with Bay State Sewage. In spite of the long delay (which I do not blame them for) everyone I dealt with was courteous, friendly, caring, calm and competent. How many businesses consistently demonstrate those qualities? <br />"

"Technician arrived earlier than the timeframe given when appointment was booked. This would be OK, except he did not call us to let us know he was coming as we had requested and as was promised. I would have missed him but hubby noticed he was here, so I was able to ask him questions. <br /> Technician was very polite, answered questions, and tidied yard after he was done. <br /> In initial phone call, a choice was offered between having our payment receipt mailed or e-mailed to us. We chose regular mail. Several days later, today, I called Capewide to ask whether our receipt was in the mail. The person who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional, talked over me, and snapped at me. Because of her, Capewide gets a C in responsiveness and a D in professionalism, and a B rather than an A overall. <br /> <br />"

"I think I got them from your list. I did like the company very much. They are quick to respond and they came out within a reasonable amount of time. The person that did the cleaning was very knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had because my husband used to do all these things. He was very friendly and suggested a new top and went and had it back the same day or within a day and he was quick. I don't have too much knowledge about the pricing but it was okay with me and it was acceptable but I don't remember exactly."

"We noticed a slight leak around the base of the main-bath toilet, so we called a few plumbers. Aqua was the only one that had a live person answer the phone. Megan from Aqua took down the information on our plumbing issue and indicated a plumber could come out first thing the next morning. Tyler, the plumber from Aqua, called us first thing that morning to say he was on his way. He arrived shortly after with his assistant, and he replaced the toilet wax wing with two rings. We also asked him to check the slow-draining sink in the main bath, which he snaked. He then made sure both the toilet and sink drain were working well. Megan from the office left a voicemail the other morning to check on things. The job went well from Megan's scheduling and "after-care" call to Tyler's work."

"I am a chief engineer unlimited USMM (retired), with EPA niversal and NATE certifications. I consider EF Winslow to be a first-class operation from the office personnel to the tech that they send to your home. Their techs are actually trained and re-trained to mfgr certifications. I will not trust any of my house "mechanical equipment" to be worked on by anyone else on Cape Cod, it is such a pleasure doing business with them. They know how to actually service whatever they sell to you. A+ I further intend to have them install a new standby generator this year for my home."
