"We visited Kennedy Carpet in Weymouth several times in search of a high quality wool stair runner. Each time we were allowed to take home as many swatches as we wished to check for color complementarity. When we made our decision, the order was placed, a man came to measure to ensure accuracy, and when the carpet was ready, an installation date was set. Every effort was made to install prior to the holidays. The two men who installed the runner were efficient and professional.  The customer service rep who worked with us in Weymouth was entirely helpful, friendly, personable. She answered all of our questions--and we had many--and was patient and did not pressure us in the least.  I found the Weymouth store to be much more comfortable than two larger stores we visited in Wellesley and on Route 9; in one, a salesman seemed to follow us around; in the other, there were rooms galore but no sales rep to assist until we had been there for twenty minutes. <br /> Kennedy Carpet is a family business and feels like one. <br />"

There were a few slight mis-steps: the top of the stove was streaky after being cleaned, the wooden floor in the dining room still had some bits of debris after being cleaned and the tile floor on the back porch wasn;t thouroughly cleaned, but all in all, I'd say they did a good job. "I cannot say enough great things about our experience!! We have extensive water damage on 3 floors, a HUGE mess! Called them & they sent Charlie within 2 hours. He told me it was going to be a huge undertaking from the start & reassured me they would start right away without needing a deposit or down payment & they would deal with the ins. co. They were there with blowers and dehumidifiers by the end of the day. We had an independent adjuster come and it's a blessing. Matt is dealing with all the issues AND the ins. co. We've only dealt with an ins. co once in past and got ripped off. Matt arranged housing (hotel, etc) while we rebuild. Mark, the proj. manager from J.B. Day, and his whole crew was amazing. had us fully packed and moved out, & the house demoed in 3 days. Pleasant, hard working, safe and thorough. totally cleaned it all. Told us what to expect the whole way. Amazing job on incredible mess. They come back at the end to move us back in! Definitely will use them again!!!!"
