"Scott was absolutely terrific. Fantastic communication before, during, and after. I knew exactly when he would come, he communicated with me while I was in the hardware store about what materials and supplies I was getting, and he communicated well on any needed follow-up. He corrected some tricky wiring and installation of two ceiling fans. He replaced old screens and built some new screens for many windows, replaced screen material and added pet-proof protective hardware cloth for screen doors, and he and his family laid a series of slate stepping stones and did a terrific job laying them flat on a sloped and curving surface. He worked on faucets and installed a driveway sign. There seems be nothing that Scott couldn’t do, fix, or diagnose. I was so pleased that I got to work with him and I look forward to working with him in the future."

"The project went very well considering the scope. Selecting the granite slab was enjoyable. Sal addressed a drywall issue when removing one of the bathroom counter tops.
Dos: Get an upfront estimate of all work before committing. This includes extra granite, backsplash, etc.
I recommend having a plumber unhook all plumbing and a carpenter repair and level the cabinets prior to installation.
The better the preparation, the better the job.

"Jonathan can do all handyman work also hardwood flooring, carpentry, finish work, windows, doors, painting, fixing things. He is pleasant, professional. And can do all that you need. Interior or exterior. I have had him work for me for 10 years to upgrade, restore and keep my home beautiful. Recently, he did hardwood flooring in 3 rooms, ordered the wood, got it delivered on time and finished with in 3 weeks. As a finish carpenter, he also trimmed and painted the baseboards. I did not have to hire another painter to come back. He also repaired and painted a set of French doors, Installed flooring registers and vents. "High Tech recently re-brownstoned the co-op that I live in on 83rd Street and did an amazing job.  The price that we got from High Tech was about half of what we were quoted from the next lowest bidder, but the work ended up being so beautiful that people walking by our building are stopping to take photos.  High Tech reconstructed all of the old brownstone details that had been worn off and totally lost over the years.  These guys were artisans and asked me for very old photos of the building, which they used to re-create the designs of the building details.  It took a bit longer than I expected but It turned out so great!!!  I never expected that they could bring our building back to it's former glory, especially given the reasonable price.   Come walk by and take a look.
A couple of years ago High Tech had done our stairs, which also came out beautiful.  They got the detail right on that too.  The brownstone stairs look so nice, they have rounded edges like the most expensive brownstones have.  But again High Tech's price was the most reasonable of the bidders.  The have also done some other smaller jobs for us such as re-pointing and again I was very satisfied with both the quality of the work and with the price.
Oh, I almost forgot.  The electric company did some work on our block and chipped tiny bits off of the new stairs and High Tech came and repaired it at no cost.  I was very impressed with that since it totally above and beyond.

"went too long...multiple tries for same claim...CHW needs to verify their service partners before enlisting them...as the first one was a fraud (and cut a big hole in kitchen ceiling) and second one did not keep his appointment until we called...third one was very responsive and fixed it property (but by then we had found the source of the leak). Then started the next inning to fix the hole in kitchen ceiling, paid the service fee twice (once for leak repair and then for drywall repair)!"
