Disappointed. We have used DIxon previously and have recommended them to other family members to use.  This was our last time using Dixon.  Too much hassle and aggravation didn't make it worth the price difference.

There is no quality control or walk through of any supervisor prior to them showing up to collect a check.  A crew (non English speaking) shows up, can't communicate, rework is necessary because wrong deck color was purchased, walls were not painted correct color, areas in closet and bathroom were not painted at all and ALOT of oversplash of white paint on the red brick exterior, driveway, etc.  Crew initially was not respectful of the house (trash, drink containers, bathroom usage) or other workers in the house.

I feel they only corrected items at my fathers house because we had also contracted with them to do our exterior paint refresh as well.  Same issues and this time an argument from the Quality Manager about all the white paint on our red brick exterior.  He stated that it was the previous painters and essentially called me a liar.  Only the trim, eves, doors, window surrounds, etc. were to be painted.  Repairs were done shoddy and we requested they redo with the materials that were quoted, screens were not put back on the correct windows, windows are painted shut, shrubs were broken and damaged, etc.

This used to be a great company and service provider.  They've painted two other houses and a barn of ours over the last 15 years all were great, but something is really lacking in their service approach at this point.  Again, disappointing.

"The best most professional team of people you will ever meet. Totally happy with our purchase. From William the salesman to Mac the project manager, transparency was the message. The crew arrived on time but the material was delayed resulting in one lost day of five promised to completion. Day two was great. Day three had a hiccup. Wrong color for corner post delivered. "Jon, the estimator, arrived on time to make a quote after viewing the small amount of damage to my siding. He quickly priced the repair and we agreed to proceed. The repair crew arrived earlier than expected in the next week and did their job in about 2 hours. They cleaned up and moved on to another job. I would recommend this outfit for your small jobs ... and maybe for larger jobs as you may need it."

"We just used Bear Mountain Custom Painting to completely repaint the exterior of our house, including restaining our back deck and fixing wood rot issues on our cedar shingle siding. The work quality was exceptional from the entire team, starting with the sales coordinator (Zach). We had received several estimates from other companies and Bear Mountain was right in the middle, but we chose Bear Mountain because of their superlative reviews and the expertise that was immediately conveyed by Zach (who did a much more thorough survey of the house for wood rot issues, and also knew correctly that cedar siding needed to be stained rather than painted). Whereas other companies proposed just filling in wood rot with Bondo, the philosophy at Bear Mountain is that to make a durable repair, the rotten wood should be removed completely and replaced with rot-proof materials (PVC or pressure-treated wood). Having had previous bondo repairs of wood performed by the preceding homeowners fail, we were really impressed with the excellent carpentry work performed by Bear Mountain Custom Paiting. The work crew, led by Higi, was fantastic. Higi was a wonderful communicator, and any issues (like windows painted shut) were immediately rectified. Due to cold weather and rain, the crew couldn't work for several days, and this was always communicated to us in a timely fashion--they then would often bring a larger work crew the next day so as to finish the project on time. We were thrilled with the quality of the final work, as the house looks fantastic and we are confident that it will remain in excellent condition for years! They took care to clean up the site thoroughly at the end of the job, and took extra precautions to make sure that our exterior cameras were fully protected. This is an honest company of exceptional professionalism, and we would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others."

"After a storm damaged our roof, Pro Roofing helped us to fight our insurance company for over a year. Other companies weren't willing to get involved, but Pro Roofing has people who specialize in this sort of thing. They knew how to deal with the insurance company to get them to approve funds towards the repair and then to fight their original estimate to get us more. If you have roof work that involves dealing with an insurance company, these are the folks to use. The new roof they installed looks great. "Jesus and his team did a great job replacing the siding on my entire house chimney and a few other repairs. He replaced the moisture wrap also. He painted the chimney and it looks new. They cleaned up so well I couldn't tell they were here. They finished in 1 day. His price for this job was more than reasonable compared to some of the other quotes I received. "The work performed by Donnie and his team was great. My siding was cracking and falling down due to poor materials and bad installation done by the builder. I love the paint they used to finish the job. I have the best looking house in the subdivision. Donnie also fixed my electrical problems, a plumbing problem I had been having, and rehung my entrance way chandelier. These are all problems created by a not so good builder. I definitely recommend DJ Handyman to fix any problems you have with your home."
