"I was looking to get quotes to repair or replace the damper in my fireplace. After getting some outrageous quotes from other companies, the Chim-Line technician came in, played around with the damper for about 5 minutes and fixed it. He explained that it had somehow jumped the grooved area where it should be seated and got it back into place. I asked how much I owed him and he said nothing. So technically I did not hire them, but should I need any work going forward with the fireplace or chimney Chim-Line will absolutely be the first company I call. In addition, their communications prior to coming out was excellent."

"I hired this gentlman 3 years ago to do my tuck pointing aroung my house , chimmey work and to redo my front proch stoop that had to be rebuilt. It was $5300.00 for the job . It took 2 days to complete. The front proch is now breaking up in small areas. I talked to ruscil about 2 monthes ago and texted the pics to him , told me he would come and look at and he never did. I made a complaint to the BBB , they closed it out due to no response. My next step is to take him to small claims court. I am doing that by beg of next month. I work so it is hard for me to get to the court in the m-f to them. I just wanted him to fix this. I dont think this was a hard request given the amount of money that I spent on this."

Gary understood what we were looking for during the estimate phase, and we were able to select a local product that we really like (Alside Ascend.) Gary sent us addresses of other installations they had done so we could see the result. Once the installation was started, Jose and his team were great to work with. They put in 12-13 hour days to make sure they stayed ahead of weather, and they made sure the jobsite was clean and clear of debris every day. We had a manufacturer defect on two of our corners noted after installation, and we received replacements and Jose removed and installed the new ones to give us a clean look. In addition, the new soffits and all of the aluminum trim on fascia and windows makes the house look brand-new. We couldn't be any happier!"

I asked him to provide an estimate w scope of work, but he never provided this. When i followed up w him, he said they were busy & needed a few more days to provide estimate. They never provided an estimate, given the lack of interest I decided not to follow up a 2nd time. Not sure what the issues were, but given my experience I would not recommend them for landscaping services. Bottom line, I was disappointed in lack of interest & no follow up. Ernie Kulik"
