"I have nothing but praise for this contractor and will most definitely be contracting with them for future projects around my home.  I would recommend them, without qualification, for home construction or remodeling projects. They removed and disposed of the old windows and left the new windows fully trimmed out, both inside and out, and looking vastly better than my originals.  Absolutely nothing remains to be done later.  The finished product is truly beautiful. They were very respectful of my home and yard and more than reasonably protected my floors, carpet, and even the concrete apron in front of the garage.  All residue was collected and removed and small particles vacuumed or swept up, as appropriate.  It is nearly impossible to tell they were ever here except that I have beautiful new windows. For many years I have delayed having any work done around my home by contractors solely because of endless horror stories of contractors from h*** who demanded advance payments, did sloppy work, did not arrive on time, and dragged projects out for vastly extended periods, far beyond original promises.  Watching small claims courts on TV only enhanced my fears, plus witnessing the experiences of a neighbor set those fears in concrete.  However, my old windows finally painted me into a corner I could not evade any longer so I had to pick someone.  I obtained a list of suggested contractors from Hoffer Glass and arbitrarily picked someone in my North Pole area.  I could not have made a better choice, in my opinion.  Square D proved totally professional and trustworthy in every respect and I cannot say enough good about them.  Dedicated to providing quality service and craftsmanship.  Great people and absolutely excellent experience."

"We just completed installing a motorized retractable awning from [*** Link removed ***] and are super pleased with the quality of the build, appearance and customer support.? This Italian-designed, engineered and manufactured awning is assembled and shipped from RetractableAwnings.com Florida plant, so if you need assistance with the install, you should contact a local handyman, carpenter or contractor.? Ours is a Palermo Plus, 16 ft. wide, with an 11 ft.-10 in. projection.? The Internet salesperson, Eric Scop, V.P., really worked with us to understand all the options and get fabric swatches.? We ultimately selected a combination Rain/Sun sensor and Vibration sensor to automatically retract the awning in case of heavy rain or excessive wind.? I spoke with Rocky, their installation expert, for advice on preparing the ledger board to attach the awning to our vinyl sided home, right below the soffit.? His advice was instrumental in making the install go so well.? Further, the awning arrived already programmed to the Soliris transmitter and the motor limit switches were also set.? It shipped in a fiberboard box (this one was about 17 ft long and 1 ft x 1 ft square, weighing over 200 lbs.), which was extremely tough.? The truck driver ignored the box orientation stickers and used a hand truck to move it from the center, rather than two hand trucks, one at each end, per the clear placarding on the box.? Despite this, it arrived in great shape, other than a couple minor paint scratches, which we will fix with touchup paint they are sending at no charge.? While the enclosed wall brackets were different from those described in the installation manual (an improved design), installing them was no problem. An extra bracket was included, which we also installed as this will be a large ?sail? on the side of the house and we want it to stay there.
