Not only was I expecting him to refinish my hardwood floors, I was asking him to come in and work miracles to repair the damage done by another contractor who had a damaged machine created wavy distortions to my floors. Lou made them look beautiful again! He was very honest about what he could and could not make perfect and his work always exceeded my expectations. Lou was careful to keep his work area very clean, cleaned up after himself daily and protected my other living areas by sheeting off the rooms he was refinishing. The final finish is so beautiful, with four coats of satin urethane, I think they look better than the factory finish. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone in need of hardwood flooring installation or refinishing."

"This was our first time working with Steve, and it was a great experience. We requested a quote during a larger home renovation and found that the price was very competitive. Steve was also willing to work around our changing timetable and fit us into a tight window alongside other contractors' schedules. He routinely checked in on our timing and was able to accommodate us quickly once we were ready for the wood to be installed. The crew was amazing—courteous, polite, and extremely hard-working. They ensured everything was done to our satisfaction and even stayed late on the final day to complete the job and clean up. Their work was excellent. It’s worth noting that the lumber company—not Minuteman—delivered some boxes of the wrong color wood. Steve was extremely responsive, ensured the mistake was corrected, and made sure it did not delay the project. To me, that is the mark of a great contractor. "Removed kitchen tile & installed vinyl planking. Work was done all in one day, a bit of a rush but understandable as it was the day before pandemic lockdown in 2020. Satisfied with initial work despite one mussed-up lengthwise joining, but that was near sink, not very noticeable. Over next year, however, around half a dozen gaps appeared between ends of planks in one area (a few minor ones in another area). Workmen came out twice (needed prompting), expressed surprise, said they’d replace planks. When workmen finally came out third time, no new planks. They just caulked the gaps with a “close” color. I could have done that, and with a closer color. Since then, the caulk has darkened & crumbled, leaving dirty gaps again. Will not rehire."
